2015–16 Charlotte 49ers Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Charlotte 49ers men's basketball team represented the University of North Carolina at Charlotte during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The 49ers, led by first year head coach Mark Price, played their home games at the Dale F. Halton Arena and were members Conference USA. They finished the season 14–19, 9–9 in C-USA play to finish in seventh place. They defeated Rice in the second round of the C-USA tournament to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to Middle Tennessee. Mark Price
William Mark Price (born February 15, 1964) is an American former basketball player and coach. He was most recently the head coach of the Charlotte 49ers. As a player, he played for 12 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA), from 1986 to 1998. Spending the majority of his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers, his last three years consisted of one season each with the Washington Bullets, Golden State Warriors, and Orlando Magic. College career Standing at 6 feet (183 cm) tall, Price played college basketball at Georgia Tech. During his time playing on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball team, he was a two-time All American and four-time All ACC basketball player who helped lead the Yellow Jackets to an ACC Championship his junior year by defeating North Carolina in the ACC Tournament championship game. Cloud County Community College
Cloud County Community College is a public community college with campuses in Concordia and Junction City, Kansas. Concordia campus Cloud County Community College was founded in Concordia in 1965 and began classes in the Concordia Junior-Senior High School. The college moved to its present site in 1968. The Georgia State Panthers men's basketball team represents Georgia State University and competes in the Sun Belt Conference of NCAA Division I. The Panthers play at the Georgia State Convocation Center in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The Illinois Fighting Illini men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Big Ten Conference.
