The 2015–16 Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio season was the thirty-first since its establishment. It is the highest level in San Marino, in which the country's top 15 amateur football clubs play. The season began on 11 September 2015 and ended with the play-off final on 26 May 2016. Folgore/Falciano were the defending champions. Campionato Sammarinese Di Calcio
Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio (English translation: Sammarinese Football Championship) is an amateur league competition for football clubs located at the only level of the Sammarinese football league system (no relegation system exists) and has been operating since the 1985–1986 season. Currently, Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio is ranked last at number 55 among European leagues according to UEFA's league coefficient, which is based on the performance of Sammarinese clubs in the Champions League, Europa League and the Europa Conference League. The 2015–16 Coppa Titano were the 58th season in the cup's history. The tournament began on 15 September 2015 and ended on 1 May 2016. Serravalle (San Marino)
Serravalle is a ''castello'' in northern San Marino. With a population of 10,878 inhabitants (of which 2,000 are of foreign origin) and an area of 10.53 km2, it is not only the most densely populated municipality in San Marino, but it also contains its largest settlement ( Dogana). San Marino Stadium
The Stadio Olimpico di San Marino (or Stadio Olimpico di Serravalle) is a multi-purpose stadium in Serravalle, San Marino. First opened in 1969, it is currently used mostly for football matches. Mirko Palazzi (born 21 March 1987) is a Sammarinese footballer who plays for S.S. Cosmos. Career Born in Rimini, Emilia–Romagna, Italy to an Italian father and a Sanmarinese mother, Palazzi started his career at hometown club Rimini. Danilo Ezequiel Rinaldi (born 18 April 1986) is a footballer who plays as a striker for Campionato Sammarinese club Cosmos. Born in Argentina, he plays for the San Marino national team. Marco Martini (born 12 April 1979) is an Italian football coach and former footballer. He is an assistant coach with Alessandria. Playing career Born in Rimini, Emilia–Romagna, Martini started his career at Veneto club Padova. He then left for Chieti, Fano and Vis Pesaro.
