2015–16 Bristol Rovers F.C. Season
The 2015–16 season was the 133rd season in Bristol Rovers' history and their 88th in the Football League. Rovers returned to the Football League after an absence of just one season following their promotion from the 2014–15 Football Conference#Conference Premier, Conference Premier via the 2015 Conference Premier play-off Final, play-offs. For the second successive season, Rovers were promoted, the first time the club had achieved back to back promotions in its history. Darrell Clarke
Darrell James Clarke (born 16 December 1977) is an English professional football manager and former player who played in the English Football League. He is the manager of club Port Vale. A box-to-box midfielder, Clarke began his career with Mansfield Town in 1995, where he spent the first six years of his career, making 173 league and cup appearances. In 2001, he transferred to Hartlepool United, where he spent another six years, making a further 136 appearances. He was sent out on loan to Stockport County, Port Vale, and Rochdale in the final years of his spell. In 2007, he left the professional game to sign for Salisbury City, before taking up the management position at the club in 2010. 2015 Conference Premier Play-off Final
The 2015 Conference Premier play-off Final, known as the 2015 Vanarama Conference Promotion Final for sponsorship reasons, was a football match between Bristol Rovers and Grimsby Town played on 17 May 2015 at Wembley Stadium in London. It was the thirteenth Conference Premier play-off Final, the eighth to be played at Wembley and the first to feature either side. The two participants finished the regular season in 2nd and 3rd respectively to qualify for the play-offs. Bristol Rovers overcame local rivals Forest Green Rovers 3–0 over two legs while Grimsby Town disposed of Eastleigh 5–1. Bristol Rovers won the match 5–3 on penalties following a 1–1 draw after extra time. Jake Gosling (footballer)
Jake Gosling (born 11 August 1993) is a professional footballer who plays for side Bristol Manor Farm, where he plays as a winger. Born and raised in England, he plays internationally for Gibraltar, where his father was born. With two goals, until 2019, he was Gibraltar's joint all-time leading scorer since joining UEFA along with Lee Casciaro and Liam Walker. Gibraltar National Football Team
The Gibraltar national football team represents Gibraltar in international football competitions, and is controlled by the Gibraltar Football Association. Gibraltar applied for full UEFA membership and was accepted by the UEFA Congress in May 2013. It can therefore compete in the UEFA European Championship starting with the 2016 tournament for which the team competed in UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying Group D. On 13 May 2016 Gibraltar became a member of FIFA at the governing body's 66th Congress which was held in Mexico City. Abdulai Hindolo Bell-Baggie (born 28 April 1992) is a Sierra Leonean Association football, footballer who plays as a winger for club Gosport Borough. Born in Sierra Leone, Bell-Baggie represented both the England national under-16 football team, England under-16 and England under-17 national teams before winning his first cap for Sierra Leone in 2013. Andrew William Monkhouse (born 23 October 1980) is an English former professional footballer who played as a winger. Daniel William Leadbitter (born 7 October 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays for National League North club Gloucester City. He is primarily a right-back and he is also capable of operating all across the defence. Stuart Robert Sinclair (born 19 November 1987) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Bristol Rovers Sinclair joined newly relegated Conference Premier club Bristol Rovers in the summer of 2014.
