2015–16 Boston Celtics Season
The 2015–16 Boston Celtics season was the 70th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Celtics finished the year at 48–34, their best record since their 2011–12 season and their first winning season since 2013. For the first time in his career, Isaiah Thomas was voted to play in the 2016 NBA All-Star Game. For the second straight season under Brad Stevens, the Celtics qualified for the playoffs, this time as the number 5 seed. However, the Celtics once again did not make it out of the first round as they were stopped by the Atlanta Hawks in six games. Brad Stevens
Bradley Kent Stevens (born October 22, 1976) is an American basketball executive and former coach who is currently the president of basketball operations for the Boston Celtics. Born and raised in Zionsville, Indiana, Stevens starred on the Zionsville Community High School basketball team, setting four school records. After high school, he attended DePauw University, where he played basketball and earned a degree in economics. Stevens made the all-conference team multiple times and was a three-time Academic All-America nominee. He transitioned into coaching after quitting his job at Eli Lilly and Company, joining the basketball program at Butler University as a volunteer prior to the 2000–01 season. Stevens was promoted to a full-time assistant coach the following season. Marcus Osmond Smart (born March 6, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Smart was drafted with the sixth overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft by the Celtics. David Lee (basketball)
David Lee (born April 29, 1983) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Florida Gators before he was drafted 30th overall by the New York Knicks in the 2005 NBA draft. William & Mary Tribe Men's Basketball
The William & Mary Tribe men's basketball team represents the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia in NCAA Division I competition. The school's team competes in the Colonial Athletic Association and play their home games in Kaplan Arena.
