2015–16 Army Black Knights Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Army Black Knights men's basketball team represented the United States Military Academy during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Black Knights, led by seventh year head coach Zach Spiker, played their home games at Christl Arena and were members of the Patriot League. They finished the season 19–14, 9–9 in Patriot League play to finish in a four way tie for fourth place. They defeated Colgate in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League tournament to advance to the semifinals where they lost to Holy Cross. They were invited to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament, where they lost in the first round at NJIT. The season was notable for swingman Kyle Wilson passing the 2,000 point mark for his career, making him the fourth player in Academy history and the sixth in Patriot League history to do so. Zach Spiker
Zachary John Spiker (born September 30, 1976) is an American college basketball coach and the current head basketball coach for the Drexel Dragons men's basketball, Drexel Dragons. A native of Morgantown, West Virginia, Spiker played college basketball at Ithaca College. He was previously the head coach at Army Black Knights men's basketball, Army. He attended The Hill School. In the 2012–13 Army Black Knights men's basketball team, 2012–13 season, Spiker lead Army to its first overall winning record since 1984–85 (a drought of 28 years), and also the Black Knights' first ever winning record in the Patriot League. For his efforts, Spiker was named 2012-13 Patriot League Coach of the Year, the first Army head coach in eleven years to win the award. Winston Churchill High School (San Antonio)
Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio, Texas is part of the North East Independent School District. It is named after Sir Winston Churchill, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. The school serves portions of the city of San Antonio along with the towns of Hill Country Village and Hollywood Park. Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District (SCUC ISD) is a public school district based in Schertz, Texas, United States. Wilbert Tucker Woodson High School, commonly known as W.T. Woodson High School or simply Woodson, is a high school located in Fairfax County, Virginia, in the east end of the city of Fairfax, opposite the shopping center on Main Street. The Western Oregon Wolves (also WOU Wolves) are the athletic teams that represent Western Oregon University, located in Monmouth, Oregon, in intercollegiate sports as a member of the Division II level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), primarily competing in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) since the 2001–02 academic year.
