2015–16 AIA Premier T20 Tournament
The 2015–16 AIA Premier T20 Tournament was a Twenty20 cricket tournament that was held in Sri Lanka. It was played between domestic teams in Sri Lanka, with the tournament starting on 22 December 2015 and concluding on 24 January 2016. Following the conclusion of the group stage, Nondescripts Cricket Club, Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club, Sri Lanka Army Sports Club and Sinhalese Sports Club progressed to the semi-finals. Sri Lanka Army won the tournament, after they beat Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club by five wickets in the final. Sri Lanka Cricket
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is the governing body for cricket in Sri Lanka. It was first registered with the Sri Lankan Ministry of Sports (Sri Lanka), Ministry of Sports as the Board of Cricket for Sri Lanka (BCCSL) on 30 June 1975 as a national sports body. The board was renamed in 2003. The SLC operates all of the Sri Lankan national representative cricket sides, including the Sri Lanka national cricket team, Men's, Sri Lanka women's national cricket team, Women's and Sri Lanka national under-19 cricket team, Under-19 sides. The SLC is also responsible for organising and hosting Test cricket, Test tours and one day internationals with other nations, and scheduling the home international fixtures. Mohammed Nisham Mazahir (born 24 March 1989) is a Sri Lankan cricketer who has played for several teams in Sri Lankan domestic cricket. He is a left-handed top-order batsman. Mazahir was born in Colombo and attended St. Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia. A former Sri Lanka under-19s player, he made his List A debut in December 2007, playing for the Moors Sports Club against the Colts Cricket Club. Edirimuni Chamika Dinushan Perera Karunaratne (born 29 May 1996) is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays all three formats as well as a national badminton player. Pakiasothy Saravanamuttu Stadium (Tamil: பாக்கியசோதி சரவணமுத்து மைதானம், si, පාකියසොති සර්වනමූත්තු ක්‍රීඩාංගනය) Colombo Oval or P. Sara or simply PSS is a multi-purpose stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Magina Thilan Thushara Mirando; (born 1 March 1981), or Thilan Thushara, is a former Sri Lankan cricketer, who played all formats of the game. He is a left-handed batsman and a left-arm medium-fast bowler.
