2015 Women's Tour Of New Zealand
The 2015 Trust House Women's Tour of New Zealand was the first edition of the revived Women's Tour of New Zealand held in New Zealand, with a UCI rating of 2.2. It was held over 18 to 22 February. The race was won by Tayler Wiles, riding for a United States national team, ahead of her team mates Megan Guarnier and Evelyn Stevens. Tayler Wiles
Tayler Wiles (born July 20, 1989) is an American racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . She rode at the 2014 UCI Road World Championships. Wiles originally played soccer until she entered the University of Utah as a pre-medical student at the age of 18. She subsequently took up cycling with her then boyfriend during her sophomore year in 2008. Personal life Wiles is openly gay. She is married to former professional cyclist Olivia Dillon. Georgia Baker (born 21 September 1994) is an Australian professional racing cyclist. She rode in the women's team pursuit at the 2016 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. Cycling career After taking a break from road racing in 2016 with the High5 Dream Team to focus on her Rio Olympics campaign, Orica-Scott announced signing Baker to race in the Women's World Tour team for 2017. In her first European race for the Orica-Scott team at the end of May, Baker was among the 90 non-finishers of 121 that started at Gooik–Geraardsbergen–Gooik. Baker in her second race on the opening stage at The Women's Tour at the start of June after a racing heart and sharp pains were felt in her chest and arm, exercising caution having lost her father to a heart attack in 2015, she withdrew from the race. Solway is an old-established residential suburb near the Waingawa River in the south-western part of Masterton, the principal town in the Wairarapa, Wairarapa Valley of New Zealand's North Island. Alexandra Manly (born 28 February 1996) is an Australian professional racing cyclist, who joined the Women's WorldTour team in 2022. She also rode for between 2015 and 2019. Manly qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. She was a member of the Women's pursuit team. Rachel Neylan (born 9 March 1982) is an Australian professional road cyclist, who rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Cofidis. She won a silver medal at the 2012 World Championships in the women's road race event. She won the inaugural women's Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race in January 2015. Early life Neylan was born in Sydney, Australia. She competed in athletics throughout her teenage years, before taking up rowing. She studied at the University of Sydney after which she became a physiotherapist. Between 2006 and 2007, she worked as a physiotherapist for the Australian rowing team. Katrin Garfoot
Katrin Garfoot (born 8 October 1981) is a German-born Australian former cyclist who won a bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in the road time trial. She started cycle racing in 2011, three years after moving to Australia, having previously competed in athletics up to junior level. In addition to this, Katrin was a teacher at Southport State High School on the Gold Coast. At the 2016 UCI Road World Championships she won the bronze medal in the women's time trial, 8 seconds behind the winner Amber Neben. In the 2017 road world championships, Garfoot became the second Australian after Anna Wilson to achieve two individual medals at the same road world championships, with a bronze in the individual time trial and a silver in the road race.
