2015 Valencia Open
The 2015 Valencia Open was a men's tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the 21st and the last edition of the Valencia Open, part of the 250 Series of the 2015 ATP World Tour. The tournament was formerly part of the ATP World Tour 500 series but was downgraded starting this year. It was held at the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències in Valencia, Spain, from 26 October through 1 November 2015. Unseeded João Sousa won the singles title. The ATP 250 tournaments (previously known as the ''ATP World Tour 250'' tournaments, ''ATP International Series'', and ''ATP World Series'') are the lowest tier of annual men's tennis tournaments on the main ATP Tour, after the four Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and ATP 500 tournaments. As of 2020, the series includes 39 tournaments, with 250 ranking points awarded to each singles champion—which accounts for the name of the series. Benoît Paire (; born 8 May 1989) is a French professional tennis player. His best result in a Grand Slam has been reaching the fourth round, which he has achieved on four occasions. Albert Montañés
Albert Montañés Roca (; born 26 November 1980) is a retired professional tennis player from Spain. He first entered the top 100 in 2001. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 22 in 2010 and has won six singles titles and two doubles titles. Montañés is one of the very few players to win a title after saving match points in two different matches. He did it during his title run in Estoril 2009 in his quarter-finals and the final. Nicolás Almagro Sánchez (; born 21 August 1985 in Murcia, Spain) is a Spanish former professional tennis player.
