2015 Tercera División Play-offs
The 2015 Tercera División play-offs to Segunda División B from Tercera División (Promotion play-offs) were the final playoffs for the promotion from 2014–15 Tercera División to 2015–16 Segunda División B. The first four teams in each group took part in the play-off. Format The eighteen group winners have the opportunity to be promoted directly to Segunda División B. The eighteen group winners were drawn into a two-legged series where the nine winners will promote to Segunda División B. The nine losing clubs will enter the play-off round for the last nine promotion spots. The eighteen runners-up were drawn against one of the eighteen fourth-placed clubs outside their group and the eighteen third-placed clubs were drawn against one another in a two-legged series. The twenty-seven winners will advance with the nine losing clubs from the ''champions' series'' to determine the eighteen teams that will enter the last two-legged series for the last nine promotion spots. 2014–15 Tercera División
The 2014–15 Tercera División was the fourth tier of football in Spain. Play started in August 2014 and ended in June 2015 with the promotion play-off finals. Competition format *The top four eligible teams in each group, played in the promotion playoffs. *The champion of each group will qualify to 2015–16 Copa del Rey. If the champion is a reserve team, the first non-reserve team qualified will join the Copa. *In each group, at least three teams will be relegated to Regional Divisions. Club Deportivo Mensajero is a Spanish football team based in Santa Cruz de la Palma, in the autonomous community of Canary Islands. Founded on 6 January 1922, it plays in Segunda División RFEF – Group 4, holding home games at ''Nuevo Estadio Silvestre Carrillo'', with a capacity of 6,000 spectators. History Mensajero's history can be traced to 1922 when a group of friends in Santa Cruz de la Palma formed a youth team. Caudal Deportivo is a Spanish football team based in Mieres, in the autonomous community of Asturias. Away Goals Rule
The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaker, tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals "Road (sports), away from home" wins. This is sometimes expressed by saying that away goals "count double" in the event of a tie, though in practice the team with more away goals is simply recorded as the victor, rather than having additional or 'double' goals added to their total. Club Deportivo Varea is a Spanish football team based in Varea, La Rioja, Logroño in the autonomous community of La Rioja. Founded in 1967 and refounded in 2009, it plays in Tercera División RFEF – Group 16, holding home games at ''Estadio Municipal de Varea'', with a 2,000-seat capacity.
