2015 Team Liv–Plantur Season
The 2015 women's road cycling season was the fifth for (UCI code: TLP), which began as Team Skil-Argos in late 2010. On 24 September 2014 the team announced that they had secured a four-year sponsorship deal with a German hair care company. For the 2015 season the team was known as Team Liv-Plantur, with the men's team becoming Team Giant-Alpecin. Roster On 1 September 2014 it was announced that Kirsten Wild would leave the team for . Team DSM is a professional cycling team based in the Netherlands, which competes in elite road bicycle racing events such as the UCI Women's World Tour. The team is sponsored by Dutch health, nutrition and materials company DSM. History 2011 2012 2013 The team's first overall General classification victory came in the Ladies Tour of Qatar, where Kirsten Wild won the overall classification, points classification and three stages. Wild went on to win the women's edition of Gent–Wevelgem, four stages of the Energiewacht Tour. 2014 2014 proved to be the team's standout seasons since its creation; Kirsten Wild successfully defended her Tour of Qatar title, taking 3 stage wins in the process, as well as teammate Amy Pieters taking a stage and the young rider classification. Kirsten Wild
Kirsten Carlijn Wild (born 15 October 1982) is a Dutch former professional racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2004 and 2021, for eight professional teams. During her track cycling career, Wild rode at the Summer Olympic Games in 2012, 2016 and 2020, winning a bronze medal at the latter Games, in the omnium. She won eighteen medals including nine golds at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships, and eighteen medals including eight golds at the UEC European Track Championships. Wild also took over 100 victories in road racing, and won two medals at the UCI Road World Championships. Career At the 2012 London Olympics Wild finished sixth in the omnium, and was a member of the Dutch team that finished sixth in the team pursuit (together with Ellen van Dijk, Amy Pieters and Vera Koedooder). Molly Weaver (born 15 March 1994) is a British racing cyclist, who currently rides for British amateur team Epic Cycles. Career Her first professional season began with the team in 2015, where she finished eighth in the Cholet Pays de Loire Dames, before making a mid-season transfer to . At the 2015 British National Road Championships, Weaver finished second in the time trial, and fourth in the road race. In 2018 she competed for the British team as their road captain. Claudia Häusler
Claudia Lichtenberg (née Häusler; born 17 November 1985 in Munich) is a German former professional cyclist, who now works as a coach for German amateur team RSV Irschenberg. Born in Munich, Lichtenberg won the Tour de l'Aude in 2009, a race which, at the time, was called the "women's Tour de France", and also the Giro d'Italia Femminile. She competed for Germany at the 2016 Summer Olympics where she finished in 31st place in the women's road race. On the first day of the 2017 Giro d'Italia Femminile, Lichtenberg announced her retirement from professional road racing at the end of the 2017 season written in a rider blog. Mamer () is a commune and town (strictly classified as a village) in south-western Luxembourg. It is located west of Luxembourg City. The commune includes Mamer itself, and also the smaller communities of Capellen and Holzem. Mamer is situated on the river Mamer, a tributary of the Alzette. 2015 Energiewacht Tour
The 2015 Energiewacht Tour was the 5th edition of the Energiewacht Tour, a stage race primarily held in the Netherlands, with a UCI rating of 2.2, from 8 to 12 April. Wevelgem () is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Gullegem, Moorsele and Wevelgem proper. The 2015 Gent–Wevelgem in Flanders Fields was a women's one-day road cycling race held in Belgium on 29 March 2015. The race was rated as a 1.2 category race, and was won by Dutch rider Floortje Mackaij. Mackaij escaped in the last three kilometres from a front group of three riders and was not pulled back by the others.
