2015 TCU Horned Frogs Baseball Team
The 2015 TCU Horned Frogs baseball team represented Texas Christian University during the 2015 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Horned Frogs played their home games at Lupton Stadium as a member of the Big 12 Conference. They were led by head coach Jim Schlossnagle, in his 12th year at TCU. Previous season The 2014 Horned Frogs earned a 38–15 (17–7) regular season record and finished second in the Big 12 Conference behind regular season champion Oklahoma State. They qualified for the 2014 Big 12 Conference baseball tournament and defeated Oklahoma State 7–1 in the tournament final for TCU's first-ever Big 12 Championship. Jim Schlossnagle
Jim Schlossnagle (born August 12, 1970) is an American baseball coach and former pitcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the Texas A&M Aggies. He played college baseball at Elon from 1986 to 1989 for head coach Rick Jones. He then served as the head coach of the UNLV Rebels (2002–2003) and the TCU Horned Frogs (2004–2021). Schlossnagle has been named a National Coach of the Year by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association in 2010 and by Baseball America in 2016, and he has won 8 conference Coach of the Year awards in his 16-year head coaching career. Early life and career Schlossnagle grew up in Smithsburg, Maryland, and attended Smithsburg schools. Catcher is a Baseball positions, position in baseball and softball. Tyler Alexander (baseball)
Tyler John Alexander (born July 14, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2019. Amateur career Alexander attended Carroll Senior High School in Southlake, Texas. In 2013, as a senior, he went 12–1 with a 0.66 ERA, striking out 177 batters in 94.2 innings. He was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 23rd round of the 2013 MLB draft, but did not sign with the Tigers and instead chose to attend Texas Christian University (TCU), where he played college baseball. The 2015 Vanderbilt Commodores baseball team represented Vanderbilt University during the 2015 NCAA Division I baseball season. The 2015 LSU Tigers baseball team represent Louisiana State University during the 2015 NCAA Division I baseball season. The College World Series (CWS), officially the NCAA Men's College World Series (MCWS), is an annual baseball tournament held in June in Omaha, Nebraska. Sacred Heart Pioneers
The Sacred Heart Pioneers are the 32 sports teams (14 men, 18 women) representing Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut in intercollegiate athletics.
