2015 Super Formula Championship
The 2015 Japanese Championship Super Formula season was the forty-third season of premier Japanese open-wheel motor racing and the third under the name of Super Formula. The season began on 19 April and will end on 8 November after seven rounds. The 2015 season was also the last season that Bridgestone, who had been the series' only tyre supplier since 1997 Formula Nippon Championship, 1997, supplied tyres to all teams, as Yokohama Rubber Company, Yokohama took over the tyre contract for 2016 Super Formula Championship, 2016. Teams and drivers Race calendar and results A provisional calendar for the 2015 season was released on 8 August 2014. All races are scheduled to be held in Japan. To avoid a clash with the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship season, the date for the first round in Suzuka was rescheduled for 19 April, and to avoid a clash with the 2015 Formula One season, the SUGO race was also rescheduled to 18 October. Takashi Kogure
is a Japanese racing driver. He currently competes in Super GT driving the No. 88 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo for JLOC in the GT300 class. Career Formula Three Kogure made his single-seater début in 2001, driving a Dallara F300 in the All-Japan Formula Three Championship for Now Motorsports. He finished in eleventh place in the championship standings. The following season, Kogure moved to Mugen*Dome Project and claimed the championship by ten points from Paolo Montin. Andrea Caldarelli (born 14 February 1990 in Pescara) is an Italian racing driver. He has competed in such series as Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, the Formula Three Euroseries, GP2 Asia, the GP3 Series and the Super Formula series. João Paulo Lima de Oliveira (born 13 July 1981) is a Brazilian professional racing driver currently competing in the Japanese Super GT series. He won the Super GT GT300 class championship in both 2020 and 2022 and the Formula Nippon championship in 2010. He is regarded as one of the most successful racing drivers to race in Japan in the last decade. JP, as he is known, has won in every category he competed in.
