2015 Slovenian Supercup
The 2015 Slovenian Supercup, known as Superpokal Telekom Slovenije 2015 due to sponsorship reasons, was the eleventh edition of the Slovenian Supercup, an annual football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Slovenian PrvaLiga and Slovenian Cup competitions. The match was played on 5 July 2015 at the Bonifika Stadium in Koper between the 2014–15 Slovenian Cup winners Koper and the 2014–15 Slovenian PrvaLiga winners Maribor. Prior 2007, the match was held only twice, in 1995 and 1996. The competition was resurrected in 2007 and was held annually for nine seasons, before it was abolished after the 2015 edition. Domen Črnigoj (born 18 November 1995) is a Slovenian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Italian club Reggiana, on loan from Venezia. Club career Koper Črnigoj made his Slovenian PrvaLiga debut for Koper on 1 August 2012 against Aluminij, replacing Denis Popović after 87 minutes of the match. 2015–16 Slovenian PrvaLiga
The 2015–16 Slovenian PrvaLiga (also known as the Prva liga Telekom Slovenije for sponsorship reasons) was the 25th edition of the Slovenian PrvaLiga since its establishment in 1991. Also known by the abbreviation 1. SNL, PrvaLiga was contested by the top ten clubs in Slovenia, for the title of national champions. The season began on 17 July 2015 and ended on 21 May 2016. Maribor was the defending champion, having won its 13th league title the previous season. Competition format Each team played 36 matches (18 home and 18 away). Teams played four matches against each other (2 home and 2 away). FC Luka Koper
Football Club Koper, commonly referred to as FC Koper or simply Koper, is a Slovenian football club based in Koper that competes in the Slovenian PrvaLiga, the top flight of Slovenian football. The club was founded in 1920. Koper is one of five Slovenian clubs that managed to win all three domestic trophies (league, cup and supercup). Aleksander Rajčević (born 17 November 1986) is a Slovenian footballer who plays as a defender for Italian club Kras Repen. Aleš Mertelj (born 22 March 1987) is a retired Slovenian footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Mertelj started his career playing for Triglav Kranj and stayed there until he was acquired by Slovenian top division club, Koper. He played for Koper during the 2008–09 season, making 35 league appearances for the club and scoring three goals in the process. In 2009, he transferred to Maribor, where he stayed for nine years, winning 14 trophies with the club. Agim Ibraimi ( mk, Агим Ибраими; born 29 August 1988) is a Macedonian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career Childhood and early career Ibraimi was born in Tetovo, SR Macedonia, to Albanian parents. Marcos Magno Morales Tavares (born 30 March 1984) is a retired Brazilian footballer who played as a striker. Tavares spent 15 seasons with Slovenian team Maribor, and is the club's all-time most capped player and top goalscorer.
