2015 Singapore Charity Shield
The 2015 Singapore Charity Shield (also known as the Great Eastern SG50 Charity Shield for sponsorship reasons as well as to commemorate Singapore's 50th year of independence) was the 8th edition of the Singapore Charity Shield held on 1 March 2015 at Jalan Besar Stadium, between the winners of the previous season's S.League and Singapore Cup competitions. The match was contested by 2014 S.League champions Warriors and 2014 Singapore Cup winners Balestier Khalsa. Warriors won the Shield for the second time after defeating Balestier Khalsa 1–0, with Nicolás Vélez netting the only goal. Warriors Football Club is a Singaporean professional football club that played in the Singapore Premier League, the top division of football in Singapore. Before changing their name on 20 January 2013, they were previously known as the Singapore Armed Forces Football Club (SAFFC) since their establishment on 16 February 1996. Despite their name back then, not all players from the team came from the Armed Forces. Some were internationals and others were foreign. Syaqir Sulaiman

Shi Jiayi ( born 2 September 1983) is a naturalized Singaporean former footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Shanghai, China, Shi started his career at Shanghai state's Football Academy. He moved to Singaporean's Sinchi FC in 2003. Kevin James McCann (born 11 September 1987) is a Scottish footballer who last played for East Kilbride. He is primarily a defender who can also play in a defensive midfield role. He has represented Scotland at under-20 and under-21 levels. Club career Hibernian McCann started his senior career with Hibs.
