2015 Pro Golf Tour
The 2015 Pro Golf Tour was the 19th season of the Pro Golf Tour (formerly the EPD Tour), a third-tier tour recognised by the European Tour. OWGR inclusion In July, it was announced that all Pro Golf Tour events, beginning with the Lotos Polish Open, would receive Official World Golf Ranking points at the minimum level of 4 points for the winner of a 54-hole event. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2015 season. Order of Merit The Order of Merit was based on tournament results during the season, calculated using a points-based system. Nicolas Meitinger (born 10 February 1984) is a German professional golfer. Career Meitinger was born in Cologne, Germany. He turned professional in 2005 and initially played on the EPD Tour, where he had six wins. After finishing third on the EPD Tour Order of Merit in 2008, and subsequently reaching the final stage of the European Tour's Qualifying School, he earned a place on the second-tier Challenge Tour for the first time. In his first season on the tour he recorded two top-10 finishes and ended 70th on the money list, a position he improved on by a single place in 2010. The 2016 Challenge Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments collectively known as the Challenge Tour. The Challenge Tour is Europe's official developmental tour and is organised by the PGA European Tour. It was introduced in 1986 and was originally called the Satellite Tour, before being renamed with its present title in 1990. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2016 season. Challenge Tour Rankings ''For full rankings, see 2016 Challenge Tour graduates.'' The rankings were titled as the Road to Oman and were based on prize money won during the season, calculated using a points-based system.
