2015 PBA Governors' Cup Finals
The 2015 PBA Governors' Cup Finals was the best-of-seven championship series of the 2015 PBA Governors' Cup, and the conclusion of the conference's playoffs. The Alaska Aces and the San Miguel Beermen competed for the 15th Governors' Cup championship and the 115th overall contested by the league. This also served as a finals rematch between the two teams, when San Miguel won the season's Philippine Cup championship in seven games. The San Miguel Beermen swept Alaska in their best-of-seven series, four games to none, winning their 21st overall championship in the league. The 2015–16 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup Finals was the best-of-7 championship series of the 2015–16 PBA Philippine Cup, and the conclusion of the conference's playoffs. The Alaska Aces and the San Miguel Beermen competed for the 38th All-Filipino championship and the 116th overall championship contested by the league. This also serves as the rematch for both teams, as they competed for the 2014–15 PBA Philippine Cup Finals, 2014–15 Philippine Cup and for the 2015 PBA Governors' Cup Finals, 2015 Governors' Cup, a year and a conference, respectively. The Alaska Aces won the first three games to go up 3–0, behind Vic Manuel's outstanding performances. Joseph Evans "JVee" D. Casio (born September 1, 1986) is a Filipino basketball player for the Blackwater Bossing of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was drafted first overall by the Powerade Tigers in 2011 PBA draft. Early life and high school career Casio started playing basketball at the age of seven. The 2014–15 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup was the first conference of the 2014–15 PBA season. The tournament began on October 19, 2014, and ended on January 21, 2015. The tournament does not allow teams to hire foreign players or imports. Format The following format was observed for the duration of the conference: * Single-round robin eliminations; 11 games per team; Teams are then seeded by basis on win–loss records.
