The United Cyprus Party (Turkish language, Turkish: ''Birleşik Kıbrıs Partisi'', BKP) is a Left-wing politics, left-wing, Socialism, socialist party in Northern Cyprus. Sarayönü Square
Sarayönü ( el, Πλατεία του Σεραγίου), officially Atatürk Square ( tr, Atatürk Meydanı; el, Πλατεία Ατατούρκ, links=no), is a square in North Nicosia. It is the centre of the Turkish part of the city and was the administrative center of the island for centuries. The Turkish Cypriot central Law Courts, the Nicosia Post Office, as well as a police station and a number of banks in the square. The thoroughfare of Girne Avenue ends in the square. The Ottoman governor's mansion, originally a Lusignan, and later Venetian palace, also stood in the south west of the square, before it was destroyed by the British in early 20th century. Trikomo ( el, Τρίκωμο; Turkish: ''Yeni İskele'') is a town in North-Eastern Mesaoria in Cyprus. Rauf Raif Denktaş (27 January 1924 – 13 January 2012) was a Turkish Cypriot politician, barrister and jurist who served as the founding president of Northern Cyprus. He occupied this position as the president of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus between the declaration of the ''de facto'' state by Denktaş in 1983 and 2005, as the president of the Turkish Federated State of Cyprus between 1975 and 1983 and as the president of the Autonomous Turkish Cypriot Administration between 1974 and 1975. Lefka ( el, Λεύκα; tr, Lefke) is a town in Cyprus, overlooking Morphou Bay. It is under the ''de facto'' control of Northern Cyprus. In 2011, the town proper had 3,009 inhabitants.
