2014 New Caledonia Super Ligue
The New Caledonia Super Ligue 2014 season was the 41st season of the FCF since its establishment in 1962. The season began on 6 March 2014. Gaïtcha represented the New Caledonia Super Ligue in the 2014–15 OFC Champions League after finishing Champions respectively in the 2013 New Caledonia Super Ligue competition. The league was won by Magenta undefeated. Clubs Standings AS Kirikitr was relegated as worst team from outside Grande Terre. Half the league was deducted points after the season. 2016 New Caledonia Super Ligue
The New Caledonia Division Honneur, New Caledonia Super Ligue 2016 was the 43rd season of top-tier Caledonian football. It started on 3 March and ended on 3 December 2016. Thirteen teams took part in the championship. The two teams with the highest number of points were chosen to represent New Caledonia in the group stage of the 2018 OFC Champions League. Standings Relegation play-off Out of the thirteen teams on the top tier of 2016, eleven are based on Grande Terre (New Caledonia), Grande Terre, the main island of New Caledonia, while two are from other islands (A.S. Horizon Patho from Maré Island and SC Ne Drehu from Lifou Island). At the end of the season, the worst placed team among the ones which are not based on the main island is either relegated directly (if finishing 8th or lower) or must face a play off against the winner of the Championnat des Îles 2016 (if finishing 7th or higher). The 2017 OFC Champions League was the 16th edition of the Oceanian Club Championship, Oceania's premier club football tournament organized by the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC), and the 11th season under the current OFC Champions League name. In the final, Auckland City defeated Team Wellington 5–0 on aggregate and won the OFC Champions League seven years in a row and nine times in total, and qualified as the OFC representative at the 2017 FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates. Hienghène Sport (), known in Fwâi language as Hyehen Sport is a New Caledonian football team from Hienghène playing in the New Caledonia Super Ligue, New Caledonia. History The club was founded in Hienghène, North Province in 1997 and made its first participation in the New Caledonia Super Ligue in 1999 on the territory of France. Hienghène has won the national league two times, being the first in 2017, after the deduction of two points due to failing to provide referees, qualified trainers or youth teams.
