2015 Netball Superleague Grand Final
The 2015 Netball Superleague Grand Final featured Surrey Storm and Hertfordshire Mavericks. Having previously played each other in 2011 this was the second grand final featuring both teams. Mavericks won the 2011 encounter. This was also Surrey Storm's fourth grand final appearance in five years. Storm beat Hertfordshire Mavericks 56–39 to win their first Superleague title. Storm led from the first quarter and, with a dominant display in attack from Player of the Match, Pamela Cookey, they eventually pulled seventeen points clear of the Mavericks. 2015 Netball Superleague Season
The 2015 Netball Superleague season (known for sponsorship reasons as the Zeo Netball Superleague) was the tenth season of the Netball Superleague. The league was won by Surrey Storm after defeating Hertfordshire Mavericks in the grand final. Manchester Thunder finished top of the table following the regular season but they subsequently lost to Mavericks in the semi-finals. Thunder eventually finished third overall. Yorkshire Jets were the surprise team of the season, finishing third during the regular season and fourth overall. This was the first season in Superleague history that Team Bath did not qualify for the semi-finals. Teams Regular season This season saw extra time introduced for drawn matches. If the scores were even after sixty minutes of play, matches were to continue into extra-time, consisting of two seven minute halves. Kadeen Corbin (born 27 November 1991) is an English netball player. She was part of the England squad that won gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and plays in the Superleague for Hertfordshire Maverics. Netball is a ball sport played on a court by two teams of seven players. It is among a rare number of sports which have been created exclusively for female competitors. The sport is played on indoor and outdoor netball courts and is specifically played in schools. Netball is most popularly played in Commonwealth nations. Layla Guscoth (born 2 March 1992) is an England netball international. She was a member of the England squad that won a bronze medal at the 2019 Netball World Cup.
