2015 LKF Cup
The 2015 LKF Cup was the 9th edition of this annual competition between Lithuanian basketball clubs held 20–22 February in Kaunas. Žalgiris Kaunas won its fifth title three years after its last one. LKF Cup
The LKF Cup was an annual national domestic cup competition for Lithuanian professional basketball teams. It was organised by the Lithuanian Basketball Federation (Lietuvos Krepšinio Federacija - LKF). The competition's full name was Lietuvos Krepšinio Federacija Taurė (English: Lithuanian Basketball Federation Cup). Before 2007, the LKF Cup wasn't held regularly, but after that, its finals were organised every January, February, or March. Between 2007 and 2014, the competition was played between teams from the LKL, the NKL, and the RKL. In 2015, the LKF decided to change the competition format, and it was then played between the top eight qualified teams of the LKL, after the first half of the season. Only three teams, ( Žalgiris, Lietuvos rytas, and Prienai) won the cup. The competition was replaced in 2016, by the King Mindaugas Cup. Fedor Dmitriev
Fedor Dmitriev (born 19 November 1984) is a Russian former professional basketball player. During his playing career, at a height of 2.05 m (6'8 ") tall, he played at the small forward and power forward positions. He was also a member of the senior Russian national team. Early years Born in Leningrad, Soviet Union, Dmitriev played basketball with the youth clubs of Pulkovo St. Petersburg. He then played with the club's men's team, from 1999 to 2002. Professional career Dmitriev spent most of his pro club career playing with teams in his native Russia. He won the Russian Cup title with Ural Great Perm in 2004. Rokas Giedraitis
Rokas Giedraitis (born August 16, 1992) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Baskonia of the Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. He plays at the small forward position. Professional career In 2013, Giedraitis was named Finals MVP of the NKL after scoring 26 points and leading his team to title. He then signed with BC Å iauliai club in which his father played his whole career. After continuing his solid playing, Giedraitis was later signed by the Lithuanian powerhouse Lietuvos rytas Vilnius and joined it in 2015. Billy Baron
William James Baron (born December 11, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for Olimpia Milano of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the EuroLeague. He is a 1.88 m (6'2") tall shooting guard. Gediminas Orelik ( lt, Gediminas Orelikas) (born 14 May 1990) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Lietkabelis Panevėžys of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). He primarily plays at power forward position. Professional career At the conclusion of the Lithuanian League's 2012–13 season, Orelik won the league's season MVP award, after averaging 17.1 points per game, 5.4 rebounds per game, and 21.2 efficiency points per game. Jakov Vladović
Jakov Vladović (born 17 April 1983) is a Croatian professional basketball coach and former basketball player. Standing at 1.87 m, he played at the point guard position. Professional career Vladović began his career in Zadar. He spent there six seasons during which we won the Adriatic League, the Croatian League and four Croatian Cups. In the summer of 2007 he moved to Zagreb. In his first season there, he wins another Croatian Cup. Tomas Dimša (born 2 January 1994) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Žalgiris Kaunas of the LKL and the EuroLeague. He mostly plays at the shooting guard position. Professional career Before starting his professional career, Dimša played in the NKL with the Žalgiris-Arvydas Sabonis school for four seasons. Artūras Gudaitis
Artūras Gudaitis (born 19 June 1993) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player who last played for Panathinaikos of the Greek Basket League and the EuroLeague. Standing at 2.08 m, he plays at the center position. He was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 47th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft. Mustafadeen "Mustafa" Abdush-Shakur (born August 18, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the University of Arizona and has previously played professionally in Europe, Lebanon, the NBA D-League and the NBA. Vytautas Šarakauskas (born 8 February 1982 in Belgrade Serbia) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Neptūnas-Akvaservis.
