2015 IFK Norrköping Season
The 2015 season was IFK Norrköping's 118th in existence, their 75th season in Allsvenskan and 5th consecutive season in the league. The club competed in 2015 Allsvenskan, 2014–15 Svenska Cupen (starting with group stage after qualification previous season) and 2015–16 Svenska Cupen (qualification for next season group stage). The season began with 2014–15 Svenska Cupen group stage on 22 February, with 2015 Allsvenskan starting on 4 April. The league ended with the last match on 31 October 2015, in which they became league champions, and the last match of the season was 2015 Svenska Supercupen on 8 November where IFK Norrköping, as champions, met 2014–15 Svenska Cupen winners, IFK Göteborg. On 4 October 2015, with three matches remaining in 2015 Allsvenskan, IFK Norrköping secured a top 3 finish and a spot in European competitions for the next season. IFK Norrköping
Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna Norrköping, more commonly known as IFK Norrköping or simply Norrköping, is a Swedish professional football club based in Norrköping. The club is affiliated to Östergötlands Fotbollförbund and play their home games at Östgötaporten. The club colours, reflected in their crest and kit, are white and blue. Formed on 29 May 1897, the club have won thirteen national championship titles and six national cup titles. The club plays in the highest Swedish tier, Allsvenskan, which they first won in 1943. Nicklas Robert Bärkroth (born 19 January 1992) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Örgryte. Previously, he has played for Balltorps FF, IFK Göteborg, União Leiria, IF Brommapojkarna, IFK Norrköping, Lech Poznań and Djurgårdens IF. He has won six caps for the Sweden national team. Christopher Rasmus Nilsson Telo (born 4 November 1989), known as Christopher Telo, is an English-born Swedish footballer who plays for IFK Norrköping as a left back. He is the son of a Swedish mother and a Portuguese father. Arnór Ingvi Traustason (born 30 April 1993) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays for Swedish club IFK Norrköping as a midfielder. Club career While at Keflavik, Arnór Ingvi was named as the most promising player of the 2013 Úrvalsdeild after the season by his fellow Úrvalsdeild players. Rawez Farhad Lawan (born 4 October 1987) is a Swedish former professional footballer of Kurdish descent who played primarily as a midfielder. Lawan joined AC Horsens in the summer of 2006, and played an important role in the club's successful struggle against relegation during the 2006–07 Danish Superliga season. Alexander Fransson
Alexander Martin Fransson (born 2 April 1994) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Cypriot First Division club Omonia. Club career IFK Norrköping Born in Norrköping, Fransson joined Norrköping as a 14-year-old from Lindö FF in 2008, and played in the club's academy until 2012. Rolf Linus Wahlqvist Egnell (born 11 November 1996) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays for Pogoń Szczecin as a defender. Career Wahlqvist arrived at IFK Norrköping from his boyhood club Eneby BK in 2009. Christoffer Åke Sven "Totte" Nyman (born 5 October 1992) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays for IFK Norrköping as a forward. Club career Youth career Nyman was born in Norrköping and grew up close to the IFK Norrköping home stadium. Substitute (association Football)
In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time.
