2015 Football League Trophy Final
The 2015 Football League Trophy Final was the 32nd final of the domestic cup involving the 48 teams from Football League One and Football League Two, the respective third and fourth tiers of English football. The final took place at Wembley Stadium in London on 22 March 2015 with Bristol City winning their third title with a 2–0 win over Walsall, who were making their first appearance at Wembley in their 127-year history. The third win made Bristol City the most successful team in the history of the tournament. The match was refereed by Mick Russell. Tranmere Rovers Football Club is a professional association football club based in Birkenhead, Merseyside, England. The team compete in , the fourth tier of the English football league system. Thomas William Bradshaw (born 27 July 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for Championship club Millwall. He has previously played for Aberystwyth Town, Shrewsbury Town, Walsall and Barnsley. Deepdale Stadium
Deepdale is a football stadium in the Deepdale area of Preston, England, the home of Preston North End. Deepdale is "widely recognised as being the oldest 'continuously used' football stadium in the world, though this is contested". Paul Downing
Paul Milton Downing (November 27, 1873 – December 11, 1944) was an American college football player and coach. He played at Stanford University and was the head coach at Oregon Agricultural College (today's Oregon State University). While at Stanford, he was friends with classmate and future United States President Herbert Hoover. After his football days, Downing went on to become a top executive at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. He was actively involved in creation of hydroelectric power facilities. He died at the age of 71 on December 11, 1944 in San Francisco, California. Richard Mark O'Donnell (born 12 September 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Blackpool. Having started his career with Sheffield Wednesday's youth system, O'Donnell progressed to the first team where he was largely used as an understudy goalkeeper. Marc James Peter Laird (born 23 January 1986) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scottish League Two side Stirling Albion. Though he began his career with Manchester City in 2004, he was never used in a first team game, though he did play in loan spells at Northampton Town and Port Vale. Liam Mark Ridehalgh (born 20 April 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Bradford City.
