2015 FIVB Women's Junior World Championship
The 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship was the eighteenth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship, which was hosted by Puerto Rico from 11 to 19 September 2015 in the cities of Caguas, Puerto Rico, Caguas, Gurabo, Puerto Rico, Gurabo, Juncos, Puerto Rico, Juncos and Maunabo, Puerto Rico, Maunabo. Dominican Republic women's national volleyball team, Dominican Republic defeated Brazil women's national volleyball team, Brazil 3-2 in the final to claim their first title. This marked the first world title for Dominican Republic at any age group. Brayelin Martínez was elected the Most Valuable Player. Brayelin Elizabeth Martínez (born September 11, 1996, in Santo Domingo) is a Dominican volleyball player who won the bronze medal in the Volleyball at the 2015 Pan American Games – Women's tournament, 2015 Pan American Games as a member of the Dominican Republic women's national volleyball team, Dominican Republic national team. Barrancabermeja is a city in Colombia, located on the shore of the Magdalena River, in the western part of the department of Santander. FIVB World Rankings
The FIVB Senior World Rankings is a ranking system for men's and women's national teams in volleyball. The teams of the member nations of Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), volleyball's world governing body, are ranked based on their game results with the most successful teams being ranked highest. A points system is used, with points being awarded based on the results of all FIVB-recognised full international matches. The rankings are used in international competitions to define the seeded teams and arrange them in pools. Specific procedures for seeding and pooling are established by the FIVB in each competition's formula, but the method usually employed is the serpentine system. The ranking system has been revamped in 2020, responding to criticism that the preceding calculation method did not effectively reflect the relative strengths of the national teams. Anapa (russian: Ана́па, ) is a town in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, located on the northern coast of the Black Sea near the Sea of Azov. Population: History The area around Anapa was settled in antiquity.
