2015 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour
The 2015 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour was an international beach volleyball circuit organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). From this season, the FIVB World Tour calendar comprises by 5 FIVB World Tour Grand Slams, 6 Open tournaments (Prague only for women), the newly FIVB Major Series with three events and the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships. An inaugural edition of the FIVB World Tour Finals was held in the United States and concluded the season.FIVB announces pre-calendar for 2015 World Tour

Beach Volleyball
Beach volleyball is a team sport played by two teams of two or more players on a sand court divided by a net. Similar to indoor volleyball, the objective of the game is to send the ball over the net and to ground it on the opponent's side of the court. Each team also works in unison to prevent the opposing team from grounding the ball on their side of the court. Teams are allowed up to three touches to return the ball across the net, and individual players may not touch the ball twice consecutively except after a touch off an attempted block. Making a block touch leaves only two more touches before the ball must be hit over. The ball is put in play with a serve—a hit by the server from behind the rear court boundary over the net to the opponents. The receiving team typically uses their three touches to pass the ball, set it up for an attack, and then attack the ball by sending it back over the net. Bruno Oscar Schmidt (born 6 October 1986) is a Brazilian beach volleyball player. He plays as a right-side defender. Bruno is the nephew of the former Brazilian basketball player Oscar Schmidt and of the TV news announcer Tadeu Schmidt. Pablo Herrera Allepuz (born 29 June 1982, in Castellón de la Plana) is a Spanish beach volleyball player who has represented his country five times at the Summer Olympics.
