The 2015 FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup season is the 23rd season of the FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup. Calendar The calendar for the 2015 season features ten rallies. Some of the rallies are also part of the FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship and the FIM Bajas World Cup The FIM Bajas World Cup is the premier championship of baja-style rally raid racing, organized by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) since 2012. Along with the main world cup for 450cc, there are world cups for the following cat .... The six Bajas award 30 points to the winner, whereas the other four events are worth 60 points for the winner. FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup
The FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies was a rally raid series organised by the FIA, culminating with a champion driver, co-driver, and team; with additional trophies awarded to T2 and T3 drivers & teams. Starting with the 2011 season, the previous FIA Cross-Country Rally World Cup was joined with the FIA's International Cup for Cross-Country Bajas to form the new competition. From the beginning of the 2019 season the cup was once again split, with the FIA World Cup for Cross Country Bajas being held alongside the competition for "baja" style rally raids. From 2022, the cup merged with the FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship to become the World Rally-Raid Championship. Timo Gottschalk (born August 28, 1974 in Neuruppin) is a German rally co-driver, most notable for being on the winning team of the 2011 Dakar Rally alongside Nasser Al-Attiyah. Career Gottschalk made his debut in the Dakar Rally as navigator to compatriot Dieter Depping in the truck category in 2007, the pair finishing 26th. Harry Hunt (born 3 September 1988) is a British endurance and rally driver, and son of billionaire Jon Hunt. In 2016 he became the youngest British driver to take part in the Dakar Rally, finishing in 10th place out of 110 cars.
