2015 FC Goa Season
The 2015 season was FC Goa's second season in existence in the Indian Super League. Background Brazil's No 10 Zico returned as FC Goa manager for the Indian Super League's second season. Former Brazil skipper and World Cup winner Lucio has signed up as FC Goa's marquee player for the second season. Football Club Goa is an Indian professional football club based in Goa, that competes in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. The club was established on 26 August 2014. Nicknamed as '' Gaurs'', the club plays their home matches at the Fatorda Stadium in Margao. Brazilian coach Zico was the first manager of the club. Its marquee players for its first two seasons have been French winger Robert Pires and Brazilian defender Lúcio respectively. The team finished the league stage in the second position in their first season. Umm Salal Sport Club ( ar, نادي أم صلال الرياضي) is a Qatari professional football club based in Umm Salal, that competes in the Qatar Stars League, the highest tier of Qatari football. It used to be known as Al-Tadamun Sport Club. It is best known for being the first Qatari club to make it to the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League. Victor Simões, full name Victor Simões de Oliveira (born March 23, 1981, in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian footballer who last played for Umm Salal SC in the Qatar Stars League. Career Victor began his career in 2001 at Flamengo, before transferring to Tombense. After two years in Brazil, he was transferred to Germinal Beerschot, a Belgian club. Narayan Das ( bn, নারায়ণ দাস; born 25 September 1993) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Indian Super League club Goa.
