The 2014–15 FA Trophy Final was the 46th final of the Football Association's cup competition for levels 5–8 of the English football league system. The match was contested between North Ferriby United of the Conference North (level 6) and Wrexham of the Conference Premier (level 5). Wrexham won the competition in 2013 while North Ferriby made their first final appearance, having never previously gone past the quarter-final stage. 2014–15 FA Trophy
The 2014–15 FA Trophy was the 45th season of the FA Trophy, the Football Association's cup competition for teams at levels 5–8 of the English football league system. A total of 275 clubs entered the competition, which was won by Conference North club North Ferriby United after beating Conference team Wrexham in the final on 29 March 2015. Competition ran one club shorter than usual after Conference South club Salisbury City was disbanded before the season started, thus one club were to get a bye in the third round qualifying. Calendar Preliminary round A total of 128 clubs, from Level 8 of English football, entered preliminary round of the competition. Eight clubs from level 8 get a bye to the first round qualifying - Barkingside, Bishop's Cleeve, Carlton Town, Evesham United, Farsley, Merstham, Scarborough Athletic and Worthing. Liam King (footballer)
Liam King (born 31 December 1987) is an English footballer who plays in central midfield. He is currently a coach at Gainsborough Trinity. Career On 1 January 2008 King joined Altrincham on a month-long loan, making his first team debut the same day in a 2–1 victory against Northwich Victoria. After several appearances, the loan was extended until April. He was released by Rotherham United after the 2008–09 season, and subsequently signed for Matlock Town of the Northern Premier League Premier Division. In 2013 he moved on to North Ferriby and built a strong working relationship with manager Billy Heath who ended up making King captain of the team. In his three years at Ferriby, King and his teammates achieved high success by winning the FA Trophy in 2015 at Wembley Stadium and also won the Conference North in the 2015/16 season. Dean Keates
Dean Scott Keates (born 30 June 1978) is an English professional football manager and former player who was most recently the manager of club Wrexham. During his playing career, Keates played as a midfielder, making his professional debut for hometown club Walsall in 1996. Emmanuele Gabriel Smith (born 8 November 1988) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender for Walsall, Notts County, Wrexham and Gateshead. Andrew Coughlin (born 31 January 1993) is an English footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Colwyn Bay in the Cymru North. Career Tranmere Rovers Coughlin was born in Bootle, England. Daniel Joseph Hone (born 15 September 1989) is an English former professional footballer. Hone played as a defender notably in the Football League for Lincoln City.
