2015 Copa Chile
The 2015 Copa Chile, (officially known as ''Copa Chile MTS 2015'' because of its sponsorship), was the 36th edition of the Copa Chile, the country's national cup tournament. The competition started on July 8, 2015 with the First Round and concluded on December 2, 2015 with the Final. The winner qualifies for the 2016 Copa Libertadores and the 2016 Supercopa de Chile. The Runner-up qualifies for the 2016 Copa Sudamericana. Schedule Teams A total 32 clubs were accepted for the competition. For this edition the teams are from the Primera División and Primera B, only. First round On this round every team plays home and away against every other team in its group. Copa Chile
The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División. Since the season 2009, the winners obtained a direct Copa Sudamericana spot for the next season, however this was change starting from the 2015 edition; since then the winners obtains a direct Copa Libertadores spot for the next season. Club de Deportes La Serena S.A.D.P., is a Chilean football club based in the city of La Serena, Coquimbo Region. The club was founded 9 December 1955 and plays in the first division of the Chilean football league. Their home games are played at the La Portada stadium, which has a capacity of 17,194 seats. Club Social de Deportes Rangers is a Chilean football club based in the city of Talca. The club was founded November 2, 1902 and plays in the second level of the Chilean football system. Unión San Felipe is a Chilean Football club, their hometown is San Felipe in the V Región of Valparaíso. They play in the second level of the Chilean football league, the Primera B. Deportes Magallanes is a Chilean Football team based in San Bernardo, Chile. They will play in the Primera División de Chile starting from 2023 after winning the 2022 Primera B championship. Unión La Calera is a Chilean football club based in La Calera and competes the Primera División de Chile. It was founded as Club de Deportes La Calera on 26 January 1954, after the merger of three teams from the city: ''Condor'', ''Calera Comercio'' and ''Tifón''.
