The 2015 Canberra Tennis International was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the first edition of the tournament which was part of the 2015 ATP Challenger Tour and the 2015 ITF Women's Circuit. It took place in Canberra, Australia between 1 and 8 November 2015. Hard Court
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. Jordan Thompson (born 20 April 1994) is an Australian professional tennis player, reaching a career-high ranking of World No. 43 on 15 July 2019. Greg Jones (born 1989) is a former Australian professional tennis player. Early life Born in Sydney, Jones is an only child. Bradley Mousley (born 3 January 1996) is an Australian tennis player. Mousley won the Australian Open boys' doubles title in both 2013 and 2014. In August 2014, Mousley received a one-year ban, backdated to 30 May 2014, after testing positive for ecstasy in March.
