2015 Campeonato Gaúcho
The 2015 Campeonato da Primeira Divisão de Futebol Profissional da FGF (2015 FGF First Division Professional Football Championship), better known as the 2015 Campeonato Gaúcho or Gaúcho, was the 95th edition of the top flight football league of the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. The season began on 31 January and ended on 3 May, with the second leg of final. The 16 clubs contested in the Campeonato Gaúcho (Championship A1 Series). Internacional successfully defended its 2014 title. In the 2015 season finals, the two top ranked clubs in the state league ( Grêmio and Internacional) qualified, reissuing the Grenal in the championship decision. In the opening match of the finals, the game ended in a 0–0 draw at Arena do Grêmio. Along with the two finalists, Brasil also qualified for the next season Copa do Brasil. Marcelo Grohe (born 13 January 1987) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Al-Ittihad Club of the Saudi Professional League. The Brazilian football league system is a series of interconnected leagues for football clubs in Brazil. It consists of several independent pyramids, which are the national pyramid and the states pyramids. As these pyramids are independent, clubs usually compete in a state pyramid and a national pyramid. Both the national pyramid and the states pyramids consist of several levels. The 2016 Copa do Brasil (officially the Copa Continental Pneus do Brasil 2016 for sponsorship reasons) was the 28th edition of the Copa do Brasil football competition. The competition was contested by 86 teams, which qualified either by their respective state championships (70), by the 2016 CBF ranking (10) or those qualified for 2015 Copa Libertadores (5) and the team with the best 2015 Série A record (excluding those qualified for 2016 Copa Libertadores). Arena do Grêmio is a multi-use stadium in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. It was inaugurated on December 8, 2012. "Grenal" is the nickname for matches between two of Brazil's leading football clubs, both located in the city of Porto Alegre, state of Rio Grande do Sul: Gre refers to Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense and Nal refers to Sport Club Internacional.
