The 2015 Campeonato Amazonense de Futebol was the 99th edition of Amazonas's top professional football league. The competition began on 21 February and ended on 20 June. The Campeonato Amazonense, officially Campeonato Amazonense de Futebol Profissional, is the football championship for professional clubs of the state of Amazonas, Brazil. Format The 2021 Campeonato Amazonense is divided into two stages: First Stage *Standard round-robin, in which all teams play each other once. The worst two teams of the stage are relegated to the second division, while the other eight teams advance to the second stage. Second Stage *The best teams play a two-legged knockout stage, with the best placed team of the match having the second leg at home. The winner of the Finals is declared the champion. As in any other Brazilian soccer championship, the format can change every year. Estádio Ismael Benigno, also known as Estádio da Colina, is a multi-use stadium in Manaus, Brazil. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 10,400 people. The Estádio Ismael Benigno is owned by, and is the home stadium of, São Raimundo Esporte Clube. Itacoatiara is a municipality in the central eastern portion of state of Amazonas, inland northern Brazil. It is 176 km east by air or 270 km downstream by river from Manaus.
