The 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards were held on October 9, 2015 and will air on October 13, 2015 at Atlanta Civic Center. The nominations were announced on September 15, 2015. Snoop Dogg will be the event's host again. Canadian rapper Drake leads the nominations again with 12 nominations. Just behind Drake are Big Sean with 10 nods, Kanye West and Nicki Minaj with 9. Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole are up for 8 awards. Atlanta Civic Center
The Atlanta Civic Center was a theater located in Atlanta, Georgia. It closed in 2014. The theater, which seats 4,600, regularly hosted touring productions of Broadway musicals, concerts, seminars, comedy acts, and high school graduations and commencement ceremonies for Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. "Hit the Quan" is the debut single by American rapper iLoveMemphis. This song is based around a dance that was first made popular by American rapper Rich Homie Quan. It peaked at number 15 on the '' Billboard'' Hot 100.
