The 2015 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship was the 52nd staging of the All-Ireland championship for since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1964. The draws for the various 2015 fixtures took place in October 2014. The championship began on 27 May 2015 and ended on 12 September 2015. Diarmaid Byrnes
Diarmaid Byrnes (born 1994) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right wing-back for club side Patrickswell and at inter-county level with the Limerick senior hurling team. Playing career University During his studies at Limerick Institute of Technology, Byrnes was selected for the college's senior hurling team for the Fitzgibbon Cup. Club Byrnes joined the Patrickswell club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels. On 23 October 2016, Byrnes won a Limerick Hurling Championship medal after scoring six points from centre-back in Patrickswell's 1-26 to 1-07 defeat of Ballybrown in the final. Byrnes lined out in a second Limerick Championship final on 6 October 2019. The 1983 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship was the 20th staging of the All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1964. The championship began on 20 April 1983 and ended on 11 September 1983. Cork were the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Clare in a Munster semi-final replay. On 11 September 1983, Galway won the championship following a 0-12 to 1-6 defeat of Tipperary in the All-Ireland final. Games were played between 1 June and 10 September 2011. Galway won the title after a 3–14 to 1–10 win against Dublin.
