2015 AFL Under 18 Championships
The 2015 NAB AFL Under 18 Championships was the 20th edition of the AFL Under 18 Championships. Eight teams competed in the championships: Vic Metro, Vic Country, South Australia and Western Australia in division one, and New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory (NSW/ACT), Northern Territory, Queensland and Tasmania competed in division two. The competition was played over six rounds across two divisions. Vic Country won the division one title, and Queensland were the champions of division two. Both teams finished the championships undefeated. Josh Schache
Joshua Schache ( ; born 21 August 1997) is a professional Australian rules footballer with the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Brisbane Lions from 2016 to 2017, and the Western Bulldogs from 2018 to 2022. Early life Schache was born in Adelaide, South Australia to mother Rachel and father Laurence. He started playing Auskick when he was in grade five. He attended high school at Assumption College Kilmore and later Goulburn Valley Grammar School. His late father, Laurence, also played with Brisbane in the early 1990s. Merv Keane
Mervyn Keane (pronounced: "cane") (born 29 July 1953), commonly known as Merv Keane, is a former Australian rules football player and coach who played in the VFL between 1972 and 1984 for the Richmond Football Club. Predominantly a back pocket or half-back flanker, Keane later showed his versatility by frequently playing as a ruck-rover. He was generally regarded as one of the most underrated players in the VFL, and did not poll a Brownlow Medal vote in his first ten seasons. Although Keane was in Richmond’s country zone, he mistakenly trained with Melbourne before joining the Tigers. Jade Gresham (born 24 August 1997) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted as pick 18 in the 2015 AFL draft. Ben Ainsworth (born 10 February 1998) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Gold Coast Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Harley Balic
Harley Balic (5 January 1997 – 9 January 2022) was a professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Balic was born in Sandringham, Victoria. His father Eddie was of Bosnian descent and his mother Nancy was of Italian and German descent. Balic played for the Sandringham Dragons in the TAC Cup and was drafted by Fremantle with their second selection and 38th overall in the 2015 national draft. In 2016, he was a member of the Peel Thunder premiership team, collecting 20 disposals in the WAFL Grand Final. Kieran Lovell (born 16 May 1997) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Jarrod Berry (born 5 February 1998) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League (AFL).
