2014–15 Regional Super50
The 2014–15 NAGICO Super50 was the 41st season of the Regional Super50, the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). The competition was played as a standalone tournament, with all matches held in Trinidad and Tobago. Eight teams contested the competition – the six regular teams of West Indian domestic cricket (Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, the Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windward Islands), and two development teams (Combined Campuses and Colleges and the West Indies under-19 side). The early stages were interrupted by rain, with three matches abandoned in one group. Trinidad and Tobago were undefeated in the group stages, and were eventually joined in the final by Guyana. The final was played at Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain, with the home team winning by 135 runs to claim its 11th domestic one-day title. West Indies Cricket Board
Cricket West Indies (CWI) is the governing body for cricket in the West Indies (a sporting confederation of over a dozen mainly English-speaking Caribbean countries and dependencies that once formed the British West Indies). It was originally formed in the early 1920s as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control, but changed its name to West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996. In November 2015, the Board resolved to rename itself as Cricket West Indies as part of a restructuring exercise that would also see the creation of a separate commercial body. This rebranding formally occurred in May 2017. CWI has been a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1926. Javon Ramon Searles (born 21 December 1986) played seven matches for West Indies at Under 19 level, including four matches in the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka. Shai Hope
Shai Diego Hope (born 10 November 1993) is a Barbadian cricketer, who plays international cricket for the West Indies cricket team. He is regarded as one of the best ODI batsmen in the contemporary world. At the age of 21, he was called into the West Indies squad after he scored a double century against the Windwards Islands at the Kensington Oval on the last day of the 2014–15 Regional Four Day Competition. He made his international debut for the West Indies in May 2015. Ryan Hinds
Ryan O'Neal Hinds (born 17 February 1981) is a West Indian cricketer. He is a left-hand batsman and a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. Hinds was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy The 2004 ICC Champions Trophy was held in England in September 2004. Kirk Anton Edwards (born 3 November 1984) is a West Indies former international cricketer. He played as a right-handed batsman, domestically mainly for Barbados. Domestic career In May 2018, he was selected to play for the Windward Islands national cricket team in the Professional Cricket League draft, ahead of the 2018–19 season. In October 2019, he was named as the captain of the Windward Islands for the 2019–20 Regional Super50 tournament. Fidel Henderson Edwards (born 6 February 1982) is a Barbadian cricketer, who plays all formats of the game. A pace bowler, his round-arm action is "not unlike" that of former fast bowler Jeff Thomson. He was spotted in the nets by Brian Lara and was called up for his Test debut against Sri Lanka after just one match for Barbados. Despite a promising start to his Test career, he has been injury prone and inconsistent. With an average of just under 40 in Test cricket, he has struggled to fulfil his early potential. Shane Omari Dowrich (born 30 October 1991) is a Barbadian international cricketer who plays as a wicket-keeper. He has featured for the West Indies, Barbados along with CPL teams St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Barbados Tridents in his cricketing career. Dowrich is also the current captain of the Barbados' first class side. Roston Lamar Chase (born 22 March 1992) is a Barbadian cricketer who plays for the West Indies and Barbados. A batting allrounder, he is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off spin bowler. In July 2017, he was named Cricketer of the Year and Test Cricketer of the Year by the West Indies Players' Association. Kraigg Clairmonte Brathwaite (born 1 December 1992) is a Barbadian cricketer who captains the West Indies in Test cricket. He bats right-handed and occasionally bowls right arm off break.
