2014–15 Oberliga Westfalen
The 2014–15 season of the Oberliga Westfalen, the highest association football league in the Westphalia region of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, was the third season of the league at tier five (V) of the German football league system and the 33rd season overall since establishment of the league in 1978. The league was defunct from 2008 to 2012, when it was re-established. The season began on 15 August 2014 and finished on 14 June 2015. The champions and runners-up of the league were promoted to the Regionalliga West. Additionally the league champion also qualified directly for the first round of the 2015–16 DFB-Pokal. League table The 2014–15 season saw three new clubs in the league, SuS Stadtlohn and ASC 09 Dortmund, both promoted from the Westfalenliga, while SV Lippstadt 08 had been relegated from the Regionalliga West to the league. Oberliga Westfalen
The Oberliga Westfalen is the highest level football league in the region of Westphalia, which is part of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The league existed from 1978 to 2008, but was then replaced by the NRW-Liga, a new statewide league. With the reform of the league system in 2012, which reduced the Regionalliga West to clubs from North Rhine-Westphalia only and disbanded the NRW-Liga below it, the Oberliga Westfalen was reintroduced as the highest tier in the region and the fifth level overall in Germany. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. SV Lippstadt is a German association football club from the city of Lippstadt, North Rhine-Westphalia. __TOC__ History The two predecessors of the current-day club were both established in March 1908. ''Borussia Lippstadt'' was founded 24 March by students of the Gymnasium Ostendorf, while ''Lippstädter SV Teutonia'' was also founded sometime late in the month. 2015–16 Regionalliga
The 2015–16 Regionalliga was the eighth season of the Regionalliga, the fourth under the new format, as the fourth tier of the German football league system. The champions of Regionalliga Nord – SV Werder Bremen II, the champions of the Regionalliga Nordost – 1. FC Magdeburg, and the champions of Regionalliga Bayern – Würzburger Kickers were promoted to the 3. Liga. Borussia Dortmund II, SpVgg Unterhaching and SSV Jahn Regensburg were relegated from 3. Liga. Regionalliga Nord 18 teams from the states of Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein competed in the fourth season of the reformed Regionalliga Nord. 15 teams were retained from the last season and 3 teams were promoted from the Oberliga – Niedersachsenliga champions SV Drochtersen/Assel and the two Regionalliga North promotion playoff winners VfV 06 Hildesheim, Niedersachsenliga runners-up, and TSV Schilksee, Schleswig-Holstein-Liga champions. TSG 1881 Sprockhövel is a German association football club based in Sprockhövel, North Rhine-Westphalia.
