2014–15 New Mexico State Aggies Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 New Mexico State Aggies men's basketball team represented New Mexico State University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Aggies, led by eighth year head coach Marvin Menzies, played their home games at the Pan American Center and were members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 23–11, 13–1 in WAC play to win the regular season WAC championship. They defeated Cal State Bakersfield and Seattle to be champions of the WAC tournament. They received an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament where they lost in the second round to Kansas. Previous season The Aggies finished the season 26–10, 12–4 in WAC play to finish in second place. Marvin Menzies
Marvin Eugene Menzies (born October 15, 1961) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head men's coach at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Menzies was hired on April 26, 2022 after former coach Billy Donlon resigned to become an assistant coach at Clemson. He was previously the associate head coach at Grand Canyon University. He was named to the position at Grand Canyon on April 18, 2019. Menzies joined the Grand Canyon staff after 12 consecutive seasons as a head coach including a three-year run at UNLV and nine seasons at New Mexico State. Menzies was not retained when Bryce Drew was named head coach of Grand Canyon in March 2020. Arlington Country Day School (ACDS) was a private school in Jacksonville, Florida. A non-sectarian coeducational school, it offered a K-12 education and enrolled over 400 students a year. Huntington Prep or Huntington St. Joseph Prep is a basketball-focused college preparatory school located in Huntington, West Virginia. Huntington Prep was originally unrelated to the public Huntington High School located in the same city, though now Huntington Prep players go to school at Huntington High after Huntington Prep's host relationship with St. Joseph Central Catholic High School ended in 2020.
