2014–15 Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Basketball Team
The 2014–15 Louisiana Tech Bulldogs basketball team represented Louisiana Tech University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bulldogs, led by fourth year head coach Michael White, played their home games at the Thomas Assembly Center and were members of Conference USA. They finished the season 27–9, 15–3 in C-USA play to finish as regular season C-USA champions. They advanced to the semifinals of the C-USA tournament where they lost to UAB. As a regular season conference champion who failed to win their conference tournament, they received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they defeated Central Michigan in the first round and Texas A&M in the second round before losing in the quarterfinals to Temple. Michael White (basketball)
Michael Emerson White (born March 2, 1977) is an American college basketball coach and former player. He is the head coach of the University of Georgia men's basketball team. Prior to accepting the job at Georgia, White was the head coach of the Florida Gators from 2015 to 2022 and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs from 2011 to 2015. Playing career White played at Ole Miss from 1995 to 1999. In 1995, White began his four-year collegiate career as a freshman guard for the Ole Miss Rebels men's basketball team. He became a starter in the eighth game of his freshman year and remained a starter for the remainder of his four years at Ole Miss. During White's college career, he had 370 assists, the 6th highest total in Ole Miss history. Kenyon McNeail
Kenyon Tarrell McNeail (born March 22, 1991) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for Kangoeroes Willebroek of the Belgian Basketball League. He played college basketball for Louisiana Tech University. High school career McNeail attended Conway High School in Conway, Arkansas where he was deemed a three-star recruit. As a senior in 2009–10, he averaged 15.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists while leading Conway to a state title. College career As a freshman at Louisiana Tech in 2010–11, McNeail played in 32 games and had 30 starting assignments. He averaged 8.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 29.4 minutes per game, while shooting 35.5 percent from the field and 34.4 percent from three-point range, the second best ever by a Tech freshman. Grenada High School
Grenada High School is a public high school located in Grenada, Mississippi, United States. It educates students in grades 9 through 12 and is the only high school in the Grenada School District. History The first public high school in Grenada was founded in the fall of 1885. In May 1962, alumnus Erle Johnston gave the commencement speech titled "The Practical Way to Maintain a Separate School System in Mississippi" in which he criticized the "extremism" of the NAACP and Citizens Councils.
