2014–15 Inter Milan Season
The 2014–15 season was Football Club Internazionale Milano's 106th in existence and 99th consecutive season in the top flight of Italian football. The team took part at Serie A, Coppa Italia and UEFA Europa League. Season overview During the summer of 2014, Inter was left by the main protagonists of the 2009–10 Treble: the captain Javier Zanetti, Walter Samuel, Esteban Cambiasso and Diego Milito. Therefore, the only left of that season were Joel Obi and Rene Krhin, both returning from loan. The renewal signed by Walter Mazzarri added to the arrivals of new men ( Gary Medel, Pablo Osvaldo, Yann M'Vila, Dodô and Nemanja Vidić) and several years without trophies helped the fans to predict a "year zero" for their club. The new era started on 20 August when, in the first leg of the Europa League play-off, Inter beat Stjarnan 3–0. 2009–10 Inter Milan Season
The 2009–10 season was Inter Milan's 101st in existence and 94th consecutive season in the top flight of Italian football. This was manager José Mourinho's second and final season with the club, before his departure to Real Madrid. Inter had the greatest season in their history, winning Serie A for the fifth consecutive season on the final matchday, the Coppa Italia, and the UEFA Champions League for the first time in 45 years, completing a historic treble. Inter became the sixth European club to complete a treble and the first and only Italian club to achieve this feat to date. Mateo Kovačić
Mateo Kovačić (; born 6 May 1994) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Chelsea and the Croatia national team. He is usually deployed in a central or box-to-box role, but can play in deeper positions. He also adapted to playing either wide on the left or as an attacking midfielder earlier in his career. Kovačić began his professional career with Dinamo Zagreb at the age of 16, with whom he won two consecutive league titles, before joining Inter Milan in 2013. José Rodolfo Pires Ribeiro (born 6 February 1992), commonly known as Dodô, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a left back for Atlético Mineiro. Pablo Daniel "Dani" Osvaldo (; born 12 January 1986) is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. Born and raised in Argentina, Osvaldo represented the Italy national team internationally. Rene Krhin (born 21 May 1990) is a Slovenian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder. Club career Internazionale Born in Maribor, SFR Yugoslavia (present-day Slovenia), Krhin progressed through youth ranks at Maribor before signing for Internazionale alongside fellow Maribor player Vid Belec in January 2007. Diego Milito
Diego Alberto Milito (born 12 June 1979) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is currently a sports manager. Milito began his club career in Argentina with Racing Club in 1999, and later moved to Italian side Genoa in 2003. In 2005, he was acquired by Spanish club Real Zaragoza, where he remained for three seasons, before returning to Genoa in 2008.
