The 2014–15 season was Dunfermline Athletic's second season in the Scottish League One, having been relegated from the Scottish First Division at the end of the 2012–13 season. Dunfermline Athletic F
Dunfermline (; sco, Dunfaurlin, gd, Dùn Phàrlain) is a city, parish and former Royal Burgh, in Fife, Scotland, on high ground from the northern shore of the Firth of Forth. The city currently has an estimated population of 58,508. According to the National Records of Scotland, the Greater Dunfermline area has a population of 76,210. The earliest known settlements in the area around Dunfermline probably date as far back as the Neolithic period. The area was not regionally significant until at least the Bronze Age. Brechin City F
Brechin (; gd, Breichin) is a city and former Royal burgh in Angus, Scotland. Traditionally Brechin was described as a city because of its cathedral and its status as the seat of a pre-Reformation Roman Catholic diocese (which continues today as an episcopal seat of the Scottish Episcopal Church), but that status has not been officially recognised in the modern era. Nevertheless, the designation is often used, with examples being the City of Brechin and District Community Council, City of Brechin and Area Partnership, City of Brechin Civic Trust and Brechin City Football Club. Shielfield Park
Shielfield Park is a football stadium that is home to Berwick Rangers and Berwick Bandits speedway team. Although Berwick Rangers is a Scottish Lowland Football League club, Shielfield Park is situated in the English county of Northumberland. History There has been a ground at Shielfield Park, named after land owned by local butcher William Shiel Dods, since 1890. Berwick Rangers played at a number of other sites in Berwick, including a ground adjacent to the present site at Shielfield. Berwick Rangers first entered the Scottish Football League in 1951. Michael Moffat
Michael Moffat (born 15 February 1985) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a striker for Glenafton Athletic. Career Girvan and Ayr United Moffat spent six seasons in Junior football with Girvan before signing for Ayr United in January 2011. Moffat scored eleven goals in his first season at Ayr, including the winner against Brechin City to get the club promoted to the First Division. The following season, Moffat netted seven goals for the Honest Men, all of which came in the First Division. Shaun Byrne (footballer, Born 1993)
Shaun Byrne (born 9 June 1993) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Raith Rovers, on loan from Dundee. Byrne started his career as a youth player for Celtic, before moving to Dunfermline Athletic where he made over 100 competitive appearances. He then played for Livingston for three seasons, helping the team earn back-to-back promotions. Byrne then joined Dundee in 2019, and would be part of two more promotions. Career Dunfermline Athletic Byrne joined Dunfermline Athletic in 2008, after playing at youth level with Celtic. Ross Forbes (born 3 March 1989) is a Scottish footballer, currently playing as a midfielder for Scottish League Two club Clyde. Career Motherwell Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Forbes began his football career with Motherwell. 2012–13 Scottish First Division
The 2012–13 Scottish Football League First Division, also known as the 2012–13 Irn Bru Scottish Football League First Division for sponsorship reasons, was the 18th season of the Scottish Football League First Division and the 107th season of a second-tier football league in Scotland. Partick Thistle were confirmed as 2012–13 champions, on 20 April following their 2-0 win over Falkirk. This was the final season of the First Division under its then format, as it was replaced by the Scottish Championship from the 2013–14 season onwards. Teams Ross County were promoted to the Scottish Premier League as champions, while Dunfermline Athletic were relegated from the SPL to this division.
