2014–15 Dumbarton F.C. Season
The 2014–15 season was Dumbarton's third consecutive season in the second tier of Scottish football - the Scottish Championship, having been promoted from the Scottish Second Division at the end of the 2011–12 season. Dumbarton F
Dumbarton (; also sco, Dumbairton; ) is a town in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland, on the north bank of the River Clyde where the River Leven flows into the Clyde estuary. In 2006, it had an estimated population of 19,990. Dumbarton was the capital of the ancient Kingdom of Strathclyde, and later the county town of Dunbartonshire. Dumbarton Castle, on top of Dumbarton Rock, dominates the area. Dumbarton was a Royal burgh between 1222 and 1975. Dumbarton emerged from the 19th century as a centre for shipbuilding, glassmaking, and whisky production. Bryan Prunty
Bryan Prunty (born 12 January 1983) is a Scottish former footballer who is currently on the backroom staff at Scottish Championship club Airdrieonians. Career Club Prunty began his career with Celtic, but he failed to make a senior appearance. In January 2004, he moved to fellow Scottish Premier League club Aberdeen, making his senior debut in a Scottish Cup replay victory against Dundee on 21 January 2004. His first senior goal came on 27 March 2004 in a 3–1 defeat against Kilmarnock. At the end of the 2003–04 season, Prunty was told by manager Jimmy Calderwood that he could leave the club. On 6 August 2004, Prunty signed for Inverness Caledonian Thistle. A year later he joined Airdrie United where he was recognised as the club's 2005–06 Player of the Year. New Douglas Park, currently known as the ZLX Stadium for sponsorship purposes, is a football stadium in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland, which serves as the home of Scottish Championship side Hamilton Academical and Scottish League One side Clyde. It takes its name from Douglas Park, the club's former stadium which was located immediately to the south of the current site. Ainslie Park is a football stadium located in Edinburgh, Scotland, which is the home ground of Lowland Football League club Spartans and the club's women's team in the Scottish Women's Premier League (SWPL). Innerleithen ( gd, Inbhir Leitheann) is a civil parish and a small town in the committee area of Tweeddale, in the Scottish Borders. It was formerly in the historic county of Peeblesshire or Tweeddale. Scott Taggart
Scott Taggart (born 27 December 1991) is a Scottish footballer who plays for Alloa Athletic. Taggart can play as either a defender or a midfielder. Taggart has previously played for Hibernian, Greenock Morton and Dumbarton, as well as Ayr United and Stranraer on loan. Career Taggart was signed by Hibernian after impressing in a match against their youth team. He was part of the Hibs youth team that won a league and cup double in 2008–09. Taggart went out on loan to Ayr United during the 2010–11 season. He made six league appearances for the Scottish Second Division side. Colin Nish
Colin John Nish (born 7 March 1981) is a Scottish former football player, coach and manager. Nish played for Dunfermline Athletic, Alloa Athletic, Clyde, Kilmarnock, Hibernian, Hartlepool United, Dundee, Dumbarton and Cowdenbeath. Whilst playing for Cowdenbeath, Nish was appointed player-manager of the Fife club. Following their relegation to Scottish League Two, Nish's contract was terminated. Jordan Kirkpatrick (born 6 March 1992) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Darvel. Career On 26 April 2008, Kirkpatrick made his senior debut for Hamilton Academical versus Dundee. He moved on loan to Brechin City on 31 January 2011. He was given a new one-year contract in March 2012, but was released from the club on 30 December 2012. On 19 August 2013, after a brief spell with Airdrie United, Kirkpatrick signed for Dumbarton.
