2014–15 Czech 1. Liga Season
The 2014-15 Czech 1. liga season was the 21st season of the Czech 1. liga, the second level of ice hockey in the Czech Republic. 14 teams participated in the league. Piráti Chomutov and ČEZ Motor České Budějovice have won this season of the league, with Chomutov later succeeding in the Extraliga qualification, thus being promoted to the league for the following season. They have been replaced by HC Slavia Praha, who have been relegated to the 1. Liga after 20 straight seasons in the Extraliga. HC Rebel Havlíčkův Brod was relegated to the Czech 2. liga after almost 9 years in the league, having been plagued by financial difficulties during the entirety of the season. They have been replaced by HC ZUBR Přerov, who have been promoted from the 2. Liga. Format 14 teams compete in the league, with the top 6 teams at the end of the regular season play qualifying for the playoffs. HC Stadion Litoměřice
HC Stadion Litoměřice is an ice hockey team from Litoměřice, Czech Republic. The team was founded in 2007, however, there was a different team in Litoměřice, operating from the 1970s up to the 1990s. They began in the Czech Second League. They won the league in the 2009-2010 season, and were thus promoted to the First League. In 2012, the team became an affiliate of HC Sparta Praha, an Extraliga team, and their partnership ended in 2015. That same year, Stadion became an affiliate of Mountfield HK. The team was also briefly an affiliate of Lev Praha, a former KHL team. History The original club was started in Litoměřice in 1949, as "Radobýl Litoměřice". HC Olomouc
HC Olomouc is an ice hockey team in the Czech Extraliga (first-level league) from Olomouc. They won the Extraliga championship in the 1993/1994 season. In 1997 the club sold the Extraliga license to HC Karlovy Vary, and was thus relegated to the second-level league. They returned to the Extraliga in 2014. History On 18 April 2014 they returned to the Extraliga by finishing 2nd in the relegation playoffs. 2014/2015 season started very well and by the end of year, team was on 5th place and even beaten elite team, HC Sparta Praha. HC Slovan Ústečti Lvi is an ice hockey team in the Czech 2nd League ('' 2. národní hokejová liga'') (the second division). Their home arena is Zlatopramen Arena in Ústí nad Labem.
