The 2014–15 Biathlon World Cup – Mixed Relay started at Sunday November 30, 2014 in 2014–15 Biathlon World Cup – World Cup 1, Östersund and finished in 2015 in Kontiolahti. Biathlon#Mixed relay, Competition format The relay teams consist of four biathletes. Legs 1 and 2 are done by the women, legs 3 and 4 by the men. The women's legs are 6 km and men's legs are 7.5 km. Every athlete's leg is skied over three laps, with two shooting rounds; one prone, one standing. For every round of five targets there are eight bullets available, though the last three can only be single-loaded manually one at a time from spare round holders or bullets deposited by the competitor into trays or onto the mat at the firing line. If after eight bullets there are still misses, one 150 m penalty loop must be taken for each missed target remaining. 2014–15 Biathlon World Cup
The 2014–15 Biathlon World Cup is a multi-race tournament over a season of biathlon, organised by the International Biathlon Union. The season started on 30 November 2014 in Östersund, Sweden, and ended on 22 March 2015 in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. A new event, called the "Single mixed relay", made its World Cup debut on 6 February 2015 in Nové Město. Yana Romanova
Yana Sergeyevna Romanova (russian: Яна Сергеевна Романова; born 11 May 1983) is a retired Russian biathlete. She competed in various events at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics and won a silver medal in the 4×6 km relay in 2014. Her medal was later annulled for doping violations. Career Romanova was awarded the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" I class in 2014. In May 2015, she retired from competitions. In April 2016, she became a candidate to participate in the primaries of the " United Russia" in the Omsk Oblast for the elections to the State Duma. Iryna Varvynets
Iryna Petrenko, née Iryna Varvynets (Ukrainian: Ірина Варвинець; born 4 July 1992, in Mokhnatyn, Chernihiv Oblast, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian Biathlon, biathlete. She is Biathlon World Championships, World Championships medalist. She participated at 2018 Winter Olympics. Ondřej Moravec (; born 9 June 1984) is a former Czech biathlete. Life and career Moravec represented the Czech Republic at the 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2018. Tarjei Bø (born 29 July 1988) is a Norwegian professional biathlete. Awarded Olympic gold medals, World Championship gold medals and World Cup victories from 2010 to 2022. Bø debuted in the Biathlon World Cup on 26 March 2009 in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. In the 2010 Winter Olympics he earned his first gold medal in the 4 × 7.5 km biathlon relay. On 10 December 2010 he won the World Cup sprint race in Hochfilzen, his first world cup victory. He also won the following pursuit race and anchored the winning relay team. Johannes Thingnes Bø (born 16 May 1993) is a Norwegian biathlete. He is the younger brother of biathlete Tarjei Bø. At the Olympic Games in Beijing 2022, they became the first siblings to have individual medals in the same biathlon event. Artem Tyshchenko ( uk, Артем Тищенко) (born 22 December 1993) is a Ukrainian biathlete. He participated at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Career Tyshchenko was a two-time bronze medalist of the 2012 Junior World Championships. During the next three years he won five medals at European championships. He debuted at the World Cup in the 2013-14 season in sprint in Antholz, Italy, where he placed 90th. It was the only time he played for the national team that year. The next season he got a permanent spot in national team. In Oberhof he reached his personal best as of January 2018 - coming 10th in sprint.
