The 2014–15 Atlantic 10 Conference men's basketball season was the 39th season of Atlantic 10 Conference basketball. The season marked the first for new member, Davidson. The 2015 Atlantic 10 men's basketball tournament was held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The defending regular season champion was Saint Louis and the defending tournament champion was Saint Joseph's. 2014–15 VCU Rams Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 VCU Rams men's basketball team represented Virginia Commonwealth University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. It was the 47th season of the University fielding a men's basketball program. Led by sixth-year head coach Shaka Smart, they continued to play their home games at the Stuart C. Siegel Center. They were a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference. They finished the season 26–10, 12–6 in A-10 play to finish in a tie for fourth place. They defeated Fordham, Richmond, Davidson, and Dayton to become champions of the Atlantic 10 tournament. They received an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament where they lost in the second round to Ohio State. Dyshawn Pierre (born November 17, 1993) is a Canadian professional basketball player for Fenerbahçe of the Turkish Turkish Basketball Super League (BSL) and the EuroLeague. He is from Whitby, Ontario and played college basketball for the Dayton Flyers. Early life Pierre was born in Whitby, Ontario. Jack Gibbs (born January 29, 1995) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Limburg United of the Belgian Pro Basketball League. DeAndre' Pierre' Bembry (born July 4, 1994) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
