Anthony Romeo Santos
Anthony "Romeo" Santos (born July 21, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and actor who is best known as the frontman and lead vocalist of the bachata group Aventura. In 2002, the song " Obsesión" reached number one in Italy for 16 consecutive weeks. He released several albums with Aventura before the group broke up. Since then, Santos has embarked on a solo career which has spawned seven number one songs on the Hot Latin Songs chart and seventeen number ones on the Tropical Songs chart. Over his career, he sold over 40 million albums and over 100 million singles. Early life Santos was born in 1981 in the Bronx, New York City to a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother. Latin Grammy Awards Of 2014
The 15th Annual Latin Grammy Awards was held on November 20, 2014 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise. This was the first time that Latin Grammys has been held at this location. The main telecast was broadcast on Univision at 8:00PM EST. The nominations were announced on September 24, 2014. Puerto Rican musician Eduardo Cabra led the nominations with ten nominations each. Joan Manuel Serrat was honored as the Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year on November 19, the day prior to the Latin Grammy Awards. Mariana Vega
Mariana Vega (born 11 February 1985) is a Venezuelan singer-songwriter, successful in her native country and Mexico, and the winner of the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist in 2014. Biography Mariana Vega was born in Caracas, the youngest of four siblings. She studied at the Emil Friedman School, and at age 15 moved to Toronto, where at 16 she began to develop her musical career. Along with her guitar, she began to compose at the age of 19. Paco De Lucía
Francisco Sánchez Gómez (21 December 194725 February 2014), known as Paco de Lucía (;), was a Spanish virtuoso flamenco guitarist, composer, and record producer. A leading proponent of the new flamenco style, he was one of the first flamenco guitarists to branch into classical and jazz.
