2014 World RX Of Turkey
The 2014 World RX of Turkey was the 11th round of the inaugural season of the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The event was held at Istanbul Park in Tuzla, Istanbul. Tanner Foust and Ken Block were entered in the event but pulled out on the advice of the American government due to Turkish involvement in the Syrian civil war. Richard Göransson
Richard Göransson (born 8 August 1978 in Örebro) is a Swedish auto racing driver. He is a 4-time champion of the Swedish Touring Car Championship winning it for West Coast Racing in 2004, 2005, 2008 and 2010. He won the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship in 2016 for Polestar Cyan Racing. Career He started racing in karting from 1989 through to 1993. In 1996 he was Swedish Formula Ford Champion. Liam Doran (born 22 March 1987) is a British professional rallycross driver competing in the FIA World Rallycross Championship, Global RallyCross Championship, X Games, and European Rallycross Championship. He is the son of British rallycross driver and Lydden Hill Race Circuit owner Pat Doran. In his early life he attended Fulston Manor School in Sittingbourne. Henning Solberg
Henning Solberg (born 8 January 1973) is a Norwegian rally and rallycross driver. Together with his female co-driver Ilka Minor, he currently competes in the World Rally Championship (WRC) with cars of M-Sport. Solberg is the older brother of the 2003 FIA World Rally Champion Petter Solberg and through his Swedish spouse Maud the stepfather of Swedish rally driver Pontus Tidemand. Petter Solberg
Petter Solberg (born 18 November 1974) is a Norwegian former professional rally and rallycross driver. Solberg debuted in the World Rally Championship in 1998 and was signed by the Ford factory team in 1999. The following year, Solberg started his successful partnership with the Subaru World Rally Team. With the Subaru works team, Solberg finished runner-up to Marcus Grönholm in 2002 and then became the first Norwegian to win the drivers' world title in 2003. EKS RX
EKS RX is a Swedish auto racing team founded by racing driver Mattias Ekström. The team is competing in FIA World Rallycross Championship since 2014 and entered the team championship in 2015. In January 2017 it was announced that the team would receive full factory support from Audi Sport for the 2017 World Rallycross Championship. The team had previously been run with assistance from Audi Sport's official suppliers. On 29 January 2018, team owner Mattias Ekström announced that he would be leaving the DTM series and concentrating on his World RX team. An announcement two days later confirmed that Andreas Bakkerud would be racing for the team in 2018. After the 2018 season on December 10, EKS announced that it would end its rallycross factory program due to Audi pulling the funding. Reinis Nitišs (born 16 December 1995) is a rallycross driver from Jēkabpils, Latvia. He is the winner of the Super1600 division in the European Rallycross Championship in 2013 and is the youngest event winner in FIA World Rallycross Championship history. Anton Marklund (born 9 December 1992) is a Swedish racing driver who won the 2017 FIA European Rallycross Championship. He has competed most of his career for his father's team Marklund Motorsport. Career Marklund entered five rounds of the 2011 European Rallycross Championship for Marklund Motorsport with a Ford Fiesta TouringCar, scoring a third-place finish at Sweden.
