The 2014 UCI Women's Road World Cup is the 17th edition of the UCI Women's Road World Cup and part of the 2014 in women's road cycling, 2014 UCI women's calendar. One race was added compared to the 2013 UCI Women's Road World Cup, 2013 edition: the German Giro Bochum. UCI Women's Road World Cup
The UCI Women's Road Cycling World Cup was a season-long road bicycle competition for women organized by the Union Cycliste Internationale between 1998–2015. This competition consisted of a series (which has varied from 6 to 12 events) of races linked together, not only by a common designation, but also by a yearly overall points competition. Each World Cup race was a one-day event, with courses ranging from relatively flat, criterium-like courses, to those which have much climbing, as exemplified by La Flèche Wallonne Féminine which ends on the famed Mur de Huy climb with several sections exceeding 15% grades. Pauline Ferrand-Prévot
Pauline Ferrand-Prévot (born 10 February 1992) is a French multi-discipline bicycle racer, who rides for UCI Elite Mountain Bike team BMC MTB Racing in cross-country cycling. and has signed for Ineos Grenadiers for 2023. Ferrand-Prévot has also competed in road bicycle racing and cyclo-cross during her career, winning the world title in each discipline. During the 2015 season, aged just 23, she became the first person ever – in the history of cycling – to simultaneously hold the World road title, World cyclo-cross title and World cross-country mountain bike title. Lisa Brennauer (born 8 June 1988) is a German former Cycle sport, racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2009 and 2022, for six different teams. Karol-Ann Canuel (born 18 April 1988) is a Canadian former racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2010 and 2021 for the , and teams. Career In October 2015 it was announced that Canuel would join for 2016 after two seasons with , reuniting her with former teammates Evelyn Stevens and Chantal Blaak. In 2016, she was named in Canada's 2016 Olympic team. She was part of the squads that won the women's team time trial world championship for three consecutive years, in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Evelyn Lee Stevens (born May 9, 1983) is an American retired professional road bicycle racing, road cyclist. Early life Stevens was born in Claremont, California but grew up in Acton, Massachusetts, where she attended Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. She studied government and women and gender studies at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire and was a member of the college's tennis team. Giorgia Bronzini (born 3 August 1983) is an Italian former professional racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2003 and 2017. She won the women's road race in the UCI Road World Championships in both 2010 and 2011 and the women's points race in the UCI Track Cycling World Championships in 2009. Born in Piacenza, Bronzini took a total of 80 victories on the road and the track, including stages of the Giro d'Italia Femminile, La Route de France, the Tour of Qatar, the Tour of California, and the Tour of Chongming Island.
