2014 Tour De Wallonie
The 2014 Tour de Wallonie was the 41st edition of the Tour de Wallonie cycle race and was held on 26–30 July 2014. The race started in Frasnes-lez-Anvaing and finished in Ans. The race was won by Gianni Meersman. Teams Seventeen teams competed in the 2014 Tour de Wallonie. These included eleven UCI ProTeams, four UCI Professional Continental and two UCI Continental teams. 2014 UCI Europe Tour
The 2014 UCI Europe Tour was the tenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2014 season began on 2 February 2014 with the Grand Prix d'Ouverture La Marseillaise, Grand Prix Cycliste la Marseillaise and ended on 19 October 2014 with the Chrono des Nations. The points leader, based on the cumulative results of previous races, wears the UCI Europe Tour cycling jersey. Riccardo Zoidl of Austria was the defending champion of the 2013 UCI Europe Tour. The 2014 Europe Tour was won by Tom Van Asbroeck. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. Theo Bos
Theo Bos (born 22 August 1983) is a Dutch former professional road and track cyclist. An Olympic silver medalist and five-time world champion, he is the brother of Olympic medalist in speed skating Jan Bos. On 29 November 2021, he announced his retirement of the professional cycling sport and took up the job of national track coach of the Chinese national track team. Yauheni Hutarovich (born 29 November 1983) is a Belarusian former road racing cyclist, who competed professionally between 2007 and 2016 for the , , and teams. He currently works as a directeur sportif for UCI Continental team . Career In the 2009 Tour de France, Hutarovich was the lanterne rouge, or the last placed overall rider in the general classification (GC). On stage 2 of the 2010 Vuelta a España, Hutarovich surprised everyone as he jumped from the wheel of Mark Cavendish to claim his first Grand Tour stage win, besting other top sprinters such as Tyler Farrar and Alessandro Petacchi. Hutarovich left at the end of the 2012 season, and joined on a two-year contract from the 2013 season onwards. In September 2014 announced that they had signed Hutarovich on a one-year deal for 2015. Malmedy (; german: Malmünd, ; wa, Måmdiy) is a city and municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. On January 1, 2018, Malmedy had a total population of 12,654. The total area is 99.96 km2 which gives a population density of 127 inhabitants per km2. Waremme
Waremme (; nl, Borgworm, ; wa, Wareme) is a city and municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, in Belgium. The city is located on the River Geer ( nl, Jeker), in the loessic Haspengouw region. The economy is based on the cultivation of cereals and sugar beet, and on the food industry. The municipality includes the following districts: Bettincourt, Bleret, Bovenistier, Grand-Axhe, Lantremange, Oleye, and Waremme.
