Superliga Colombiana
The Superliga Colombiana (''Colombian Superleague''), officially known as Superliga BetPlay DIMAYOR due to sponsorship by online betting company BetPlay, is an official competition contested between the winners of the Apertura and Finalización tournaments of the Colombian Categoría Primera A. The tournament is organized by the División Mayor del Fútbol Colombiano, DIMAYOR. The competition was created in 2012 and is played by the end of January of every year, at the start of each season. Its current champion is Deportes Tolima, who won their first title in 2022, while the most successful club is Santa Fe, with four titles. Stefan Medina
John Stefan Medina Ramírez (born 14 June 1992) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays for Liga MX club Monterrey and the Colombia national team. Initially, Medina debuted for Atlético Nacional as a centre-back. As time progressed, he has shown to be comfortable playing as a right-back and on some occasions as a defensive midfielder. Club career Atlético Nacional A youth product of Nacional's academy, Medina played as a starter in the youth squad for one season before making his senior debut in 2011. Jhon Eduis Viáfara Mina (born 27 October 1978) is a Colombian former footballer who played as a midfielder. He was part of the Once Caldas team that won the Copa Libertadores in 2004, and later played in Europe for rivals Portsmouth and Southampton in England, and Real Sociedad in Spain. With the Colombia national team, he went to the Copa América in 2004 and 2007. In 2020, he was extradited to the United States to face charges of drug trafficking. Juan David Valencia Hinestroza (born January 15, 1986) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a left back, although he can also play as a midfielder. Edwin Andrés Cardona Bedoya (; born 8 December 1992) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays for Argentine Primera Division club Racing Club and the Colombia national team.
