2014 Pro Mazda Championship
The 2014 Pro Mazda Championship is the 16th season in series history. The second season of Andersen Promotions' management of the series saw increased car counts with 20 or more cars in many races and 13 drivers competing in all 14 races compared to 2013's nine. American Spencer Pigot won the title over Canadian Scott Hargrove in the final race weekend at Sonoma Raceway in controversial fashion. In the first race of the weekend, the two made contact on the fourth lap of the race with Pigot leading. Pigot's race was over while Hargrove went on to finish third. In the second race, Neil Alberico, Hargrove's teammate, made contact with Pigot on the first lap, although both were able to continue. On lap 12, Pigot's teammate Kyle Kaiser's car stopped on track bringing out a caution flag, allowing Pigot, who was running sixth at the time, to close up behind the leaders. Pro Mazda Championship
The USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, formerly known as the Star Mazda Championship, Pro Mazda Championship, and later Indy Pro 2000 Championship, is an Open-wheel car, open-wheel racing series serving as the third step on the Road to Indy ladder system, between the U.S. F2000 National Championship, U.S. F2000 Championship and Indy Lights, Indy NXT. The series is sanctioned by the United States Auto Club and operated by Andersen Promotions. The series' champion is awarded a scholarship package to advance to Indy Lights competition for the following season. It competes on all open-wheel disciplines: Road racing, road courses, Street circuit, street courses, and Oval track racing, ovals. The series' primary sponsor is the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company via their Cooper Tires brand. JDC MotorSports
JDC–Miller MotorSports is a sports car racing team that currently competes in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The team currently fields the No. 5 Mustang Sampling Cadillac DPi-V.R full-time for Tristan Vautier and Richard Westbrook in the Daytona Prototype International class of the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Additionally, JDC runs the No. 17 Unitronic/Liqui Moly Audi RS3 LMS TCR SEQ full-time for Chris Miller and Zikey Taylor in the Touring Car class. Kyle Kaiser
Kyle Kaiser (born March 5, 1996) is an American racing driver from Santa Clara, California, and won the 2017 Indy Lights Championship with Juncos Racing. He is also currently enrolled in classes part-time at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. Racing career Karting From 2003 to 2009, Kaiser competed in the International Kart Federation, in the IKF Regional Race Series, 2-Cycle Sprint Grand Nationals, and the Stars of Karting. In 2008 he claimed his first national championship in the HPV-1 class. In 2009, he won the Infinion Raceway 3 hr Karting Enduro.
